We are more competitve with the likes of the first 2, good thing the other 2 wont be in the tourney. We will be “matched up” with a team somewhere between Auburn, BYU, K State, and Oklahoma State…
Does that help???

Should someone tell them what answer matches up with “being competitive”?We are more competitve with the likes of the first 2, good thing the other 2 wont be in the tourney.
Not sure what you mean.Should someone tell them what answer matches up with “being competitive”?
they're trying to be clever and failingNot sure what you mean.
They seem to play harder against the better teams. Houston, Arizona, Tech, even BYU they finally kicked it in
In NCAA its 1 and done, you would hope it clicks to take the approach you did against the top 4 of the league
Not really complicated

In the other tournament setting this year they played well.I was just using your response of being “competitive” as the answer. As you said, it’s 1 and done in the tournament so you need to be more than competitive.
Hope is not a strategy.
Well we don't play the games, so hope is pretty much all we have as fans. Or you can just be a pessimistic a-hole. Choice is yours I guess.I was just using your response of being “competitive” as the answer. As you said, it’s 1 and done in the tournament so you need to be more than competitive.

Turnovers, rebounding and free throw shooting will doom us. I predict sweet 16.
Looking back through the conference season, rebounding hasn't been terrible. Sometimes it seems worse than the final stats, due to when offensive rebounds are given up. Some good wins have come in games in which ISU was outrebounded.Turnovers, rebounding and free throw shooting will doom us. I predict sweet 16.
And the last two games the opposing team has shot lights out at the free throw line. A combined 50-58 (86.2%). You are correct: 75% as a team is indeed very good. 86.2% is absurdLooking back through the conference season, rebounding hasn't been terrible. FT shooting I see as a strength. 75% as a team is very good.
To me, turnovers and being ice cold from 3 are the limiting factors for this team.
