If I was a single guy and they asked for volunteers to go to the red planet. I'd be in. Really cool and a great job by NASA
These things still amaze me that they can send an RC car to Mars and control it from back here.
Does anyone know when we are sending a ship to retrieve the samples from Perseverance?
Could anyone provide information on how they plan to do this? If there’s a video out there, that’s be great!

On tonight's show I thought heard the 10 rotors for the rover's wheels were $1 million each. Did I hear that right?
Quite right. $10M wouldn't even dent the expenditure to send replacement parts...it’s a bargain. Well worth it!

Agree. NASA budget is $23B this year.
I know people get worked up about that price tag, but there's $10B just in EITC fraud every year. You could have another half-a-NASA just on preventing that theft. Imagine if a bank/business had losses like that due to fraud lol.

If they had Amazon Prime they would get it in about 24 hoursAt some point down the line when the rover is pretty much done and the planets are in close alignment NASA will launch a craft with the ability to remotely dock in Mars orbit with the sample probe that will launch from the surface of the rover on Mars. Eight months later? Boom. Mars dirt on Ert.
