I'm loving this aggression. Lots of 3s, lots of steals, lots of blocks, but also lots of fouls. I'm happy thats that what we have to nit pick for this game so far. Something we can really work on.

While UD is not D1, I'm just going to say something. Nobody has seen **** from any team so nobody can even say that. Are you basing this off of the countless practices you've seen at UD in the last month?

I'm not saying we're greaaat but I think it's unfair to say a high school team could be a D2 or D3 or whatever they are team when they haven't even played a game so far.

That being said, I like our offense so far.

I have seen several of UD's players play. When they were in high school at such power houses as Guttenberg, Bellevue, Anamosa, East Dubuque. Basically they are an eastern iowa all-star team.

Never seeing lots of fouls, but the great thing is this is the first game (and it doesn't even count, so it's not technically the first). We will hopefully improve everything after every game experience we have.

Basketball is a much more complicated game than judging a team by how you saw its players play on different teams. It's a team game, and a much different dynamic. Some players make others better, some players make others worse. The most accurate way to judge a team is to see them play together, not by saying you saw five of the guys play but all on different teams.

I'm not "making a case" for dubuque, because at least 85% of D1 teams would beat them, but I'm saying basketball is a much more complex system than to judge a team by its individual parts not interacting with each other.
