all i've got to say about that ...

This is in no way the same thing. You heckled a dude during warm-ups and then reacted like a little girl when he retaliated. That's dumb. Our student section holding up a sign taking a shot at the entire state during the game isn't dumb. I wouldn't expect you to understand the difference.

Question: Do you think Jeff Orr would have had the same criticism if he had a sign that said "Marcus Smart is a piece of crap."

Of course not. You can't scream at players, especially in warmups with nobody else there, and taunt them into getting a reaction and then scream like a little girl when you get what you want. Extremely juvenile and childish behavior. Be proud.

The WVU sign is a crappy/mindless joke. Nobody actually thinks players on the team marry their sisters.

I don't know how someone can rip on the emotions of college kids, when their basketball team has been coached by the likes of Huggins and Martin. Who's team is currently coached by a coach who spends half the time coaching from the 3 point line and who's coaching is funny to watch.

wow. news: neither martin (at usc) nor huggs (at wvu) are coaching this k-state team. and weber, funny or not, is 16-1 v. the conference in the octagon, has won a big12 championship and currently is in second place. demeaning him over an opponent players' game is pretty weak.

*Tied for share of B12 title to a team that swept them with the old coaches recruits
*In 4 way tie for 2nd place

(He is a pretty good coach though)

They did coach for KSU and had support if the fans for their actions. KU won the tie breakers last year, but they did do well, in first year. You really think it is better to rip on a player over a coach?

News flash, there is a shift key on every keyboard.

Meh...it's an accessory! Interesting that "the octagon" was italicized in the post. I wonder if that's a tradition - that KSU fans have to italicize it when they type it? I'm pretty sure all of us would have known which octagon he was talking about...

Hey Surly, don't you have a DVR recording of the K-State/ La Salle game to watch from last year??

That should tell you everything you need to know about Weber's coaching ability..
