Haha I actually am, not sure how to prove it though
Send us your bank routing number and relevant information, we'll figure out how tall you are from that.

Top receivers in 2011 for each Big12 Team:
Baylor - Kendall Wright 5' 10"
Kansas - DJ Beshears 5' 9"
Kansas St - Chris Harper 6' 1"
Okie State - Justin Blackmon 6' 1"
Oklahoma - Ryan Broyles 5' 11"
TCU - Josh Boyce 6' 0"
Texas - Mike Davis 6' 2"
Texas Tech - Eric Ward 6' 0"
WVU - Tavon Austin 5' 9"
Someone want to tell me what's wrong with a 5'10 DB when more than half of the leading receivers in the conference last year are 6ft or under?
Nothing. This is just the standard daily "our recruiting sux" trolling that happens after every commit we get.
Yep, since this guys has 3 stars and offers from other BCS schools we have to bust on him for not being 6'2.
Yes. 40 and shuttle times run in full gear would be a lot more useful than those run in shorts, too, but that's not what we get. This height discussion brings up a question. For a defensive back wouldn't something like standing reach be a much more useful number than height? Until DBs start heading the ball like soccer players I care a lot more about where their hand is than where their head is.
No.
and we all know listed heights are a joke. take every guy and subtract 1-2 inches.
Have you taken a look at the commitment lists of those same teams? But go ahead, twist information any way you want do.Top receivers in 2011 for each Big12 Team:

imagine if reeves was 5-10 with his leaping ability, and he is a decent tackler as well. gets beat on the big plays because of his height from time to time but holds his own for the most part. i like that we have 3 DBs commited for next year already and all freshmen!!! now lets get a few LBs, and some awesome OL & DL!!
Huh??? What exactly are you getting at. I was trying to make a point that the majority of the leading receivers in the conference are 6ft and under and we got a commitment from a 5-10 DB. In other words there isn't much difference between 5-10 and 6-0.Have you taken a look at the commitment lists of those same teams? But go ahead, twist information any way you want do.
Okay maybe not, but I'm 6'5" and I've stood next to him. He seemed taller than 6'1". And my point about him is that he's a tall DB and an unconventional one. He looks and plays more like a receiver. His athletic ability and ball skills remind me of a WR. Point being, 5'10" DBs are common and typically solid

In other words there isn't much difference between 5-10 and 6-0. What does their commitment list have to do with anything?? The fact that most of the DB's being recruited are 6ft and under? Or the very few of the WR commits are over 6-2??? I guess I should thank you for helping me prove my point that we don't need 6-2 DB's to compete in this league.Have you taken a look at the commitment lists of those same teams?
