Danger Mouse - Wasnt really floored by the album. Pretty meh actually.
Tinie Tempah - I've thought about getting this album. Is it worth it?
Foo Fighters - Awesome album.
Beastie Boys - My album of the year thus far. It straight up rocks.
Death Cab for Cutie - I've been streaming this one for the last day or so. Its actually really, really good.

Ones you are missing -

Manchester Orchestra - Simple Math - Awesome album. Maybe #2 to Hot Sauce
Eddie Vedder - Ukulele Music - I'm way interested in this one when it drops.
Lupe Fiasco - LASERS - Pretty decent for Lupe.
Lady Gaga - Born This Way - Yeah, I said it. It was 99 cents on Amazon yesterday, I couldnt pass it up. There are quite a few catchy songs on there.

Not really new, but a cool song:

Mirrorage by Glasser

AWOLNATION and Frank Ocean are recent purchases that are great as well.

Tinie Tempah is KIND of a poor man's Dizzee Rascal. The flow/beats aren't at his level yet and are more for mass consumption but bubblegum grime is better than no grime at all.

I have the Manchester Orchestra on my desk right now...haven't listened to it yet.

Generally speaking PJ bores me to tears so Eddie isn't really in my wheelhouse (crucify away)

Haven't heard Lupe's new one yet.

Born This Way is super **** and I probably should have put that in the Homeruns section.

I'm also guilty of listening to Tyler, The Creator's Goblin. I dont like it, but for some reason, I keep listening to it.

Yeah...doesn't really make much sense to me either....but here we are.

I can live with that response.

I was actually less surprised by the lack of love for PJ (they're nothing like the artists you champion here) as the GaGa love.

IMO, Gaga is just a Madonna rip off that uses shock value as a gimmick to mask her lack of talent (which one can argue is most of what Madonna did). That's just me.

Actually, Gaga is a pretty damn good pianist and shes got a set of vocal chords on her. I dunno what it is about her new album, the fact that it was 99c or that there are several catchy songs. Granted they sound a lot like some catchy Madonna songs, but they are catchy nonetheless.

IMO, Gaga is a much better pure singer than Madonna. She just doesn't really do it much. I used to think gaga just sucked but then I changed my mind when she performed with Elton John.

I'm kind of in line with this. Couldn't stand her before, but it's undeniable that a lot of her songs are pretty good pop songs. She does write most of them as well. I even think "Born this Way" sounds a bit like Prince (moreso in the verse than the chorus), and I think Prince is the bomb.

I can't believe I just typed that I like Lady Gaga. I guess it's a guilty pleasure. Don't tell my wife.

I respect your opinions, but I will continue to dissent. I have guilty pleasures (I don't mind most pop-punk bands) but Lady Gaga just isn't one. Like I've said, if an artist tends to use a lot of shock value stuff, it comes off to me as a crutch. People talk about what will Gaga do next as much as they talk about the quality of the music.

OK. I feel really old right now. I have absolutely no idea what or whom you're talking about.

I don't know about anyone else, but as an artist, they can only be judged on what they actually write. Does s/he actually write her own songs?
