I agree. Although, I think I'd tell him that he needs a better DC than the one he has now too. Memphis has a bad defense from what I understand.

But boy are they fun to watch on offense.

I think Major Applewhite will move on up to a HC in the next few years. I watched a little video on him and was impressed. Definitely not a rah-rah guy like DannyMac or CPR.

Downside is no HC experience obviously.

2.5 million would still be 2nd worst in the conference. So that is pretty much the bottom end of what we'll have to pay to find a new decent head coach.

Which brings in a whole new discussion.... do we even have an AD that is willing to spend that? What are we saving per year right now with Prohm as our MBB coach instead of Hoiberg? Isn't it close to a million per year less?

Ha, I think Sparty is having the best wins/losses stretch of their football history (at least the QB is one of the most successful there) and their fans are upset. Good stuff.

Isn't that why there were "sources" given to Hines so he could write an article about a rift between him and the bball program because he was cheap. People want him gone so they can open the vault for a new football HC.
