Seems to me that RJ was just better tonight. You ride the hot handI thought Jones played well, but still wonder why GC only played 14 minutes. Was he sick or did TJ just like how RJ was playing?

He was pulled in the first half after his second foul. Beyond that, I got nuthin'.
Did you see TJ on the sidelines tonight? No doubt the players know he gots them.I get that but sometimes as a coach. You have to show your players that you will fight just as hard for them as they are fighting on the court.
HaHa. Be reasonable.Seems like a better question may be does anyone remember the last time the refs cost KU a win?
Good god I hope we don’t wind up in the bubble looking at this screw job as a win that would have got us in.
If this team keeps playing like that, they won't have to worry about the bubble (which is completely amazing given the situation)
I hope you’re right. The Big12 is rough though. A performance like tonight probably doesn’t get us a lot of conference wins, in my opinion. Kansas was down at least one starter and another major contributor.
They fought their asses off, yes, but the conference is just brutal. Texas just pounded Oklahoma (OU only scored 52) and we have Texas next. After Texas is @Tech (who just won @Baylor tonight).
I'm good with tonights result. Obviously there is a bit of sting given that the game was there for the taking at the end, but my bar for the guys tonight was to compete, keep it within 10. Mission accomplished, I liked what I saw tonight for the most part. The defensive intensity that had faltered v.s. OU late was back in full forceI guess I don’t understand all the hand wringing of making the dance or not. Anyone that had wins over Baylor even at home, a first road league game at a good OU and at Kansas was out of their minds. 2-4 was my hope with wins against Tech and Texas in the first six out of the league gate. Still can do that.
I don’t buy the ‘oh man these close losses take their toll’ excuse. We’ve lost three games to NCAA teams, one was #1 and one was by one in arguably the toughest arena to win in. We aren’t giving up. I think tonight makes us angry and I expect we win on Saturday.
I’m not saying I wish we didn’t get these close wins. But there aren’t many teams in the entire country that would beat Baylor and Kansas and we nearly beat them both.
I think these 4 teams will fight for third in the conference. Whoever can steal some road wins can be the 3 seed, but it makes every home game a must win.I think it’ll be
Baylor
Tech
Kansas
Texas
OU
ISU
TCU
WVU
OK State
KState
I wonder if it was a defensive play? GC sometimes can get out of position and screws up defensive rotations. It was a quick hook for him tonight.I thought Jones played well, but still wonder why GC only played 14 minutes. Was he sick or did TJ just like how RJ was playing?
Working the refs can also pay off later on in that game. Self is a master at it. Prohm never did it. I’d like to see TJ do more of it.Did you see TJ on the sidelines tonight? No doubt the players know he gots them.
