I am assuming you have never played any kind of competitive sport that mattered, that is not how you watch game tape on the opposition..

You mean like this:

You are in for a massive disappointment , Nevada has watched extensive tape on ISU and they know all they have to do is pound the rock in the paint, ISU has no answer to that. To make things worse , some of their bigs hit jump shots and even knock down threes. It has been great run so for this season.....

And how did that work for them? Everyone watches extensive tape on their opponents. If they don't..........they need to find another way to make a living. Oh........and we are still running!

I got a bottle of this:

That'll work. We'll choose to believe it is a tribute to Johnny Orr.

This Wisky/Nova game is a great way to fill the void before the ISU game. A lot of fun to watch.

My take on keys to the game:

1) Double Swanigan & Haas in the post to get turnovers and to frustrate, BUT needs to do it opportunistically so that Purdue guards don't get open, in rhythm 3s.

2) Solomon needs to stay out of foul trouble or Holden/Bowie need to step up on defense

3) ISU will probably get great looks at 3, but cannot "fall in love" with the 3. Simply need ball movement to try to the get the best shot on each possession whether it is 2s or 3s

4) ISU Guards need to be pesky & create on-ball turnovers/deflections- make post entry passes very difficult all night

5) Lastly, if ISU has more "scoring chances" than Purdue ISU will win or simply:
(ISU Offensive Rebounds + Purdue Turnovers) > (Purdue Offensive Rebounds + ISU Turnovers).

p.s. A lot has been said about Purdue's ability to make 3pt shots difficult resulting in opponent only shooting 32.4% on 3s. To this point, one source of optimism should be that ISU will be the best 3 pt % shooting team Purdue has faced all year. Generally, when Purdue has lost this year it has been when the opponent has been able to shoot well from 3 (Michigan, Minnesota, Villanova, Nebraska, and Iowa). That said Purdue has also won 8 games while still allowing their opponent to shoot >40% on 3s too.
