I am so pumped for this game. My heart says we make a statement and win big to send us to KC where we'll play KU or MSU (!!!). My brain is telling me I'm nervous.

Someone obviously didn't fact check, or at least proofread, considering we got past the first weekend last year and 2 years before that. I would think they meant that we haven't gotten past the Sweet 16 in 17 years (which is true), but why bring that up now?

I think we win this game but it will come down to a few plays and a possession or two in the last 2 minutes so who knows.

All I know is this the most fun I have had watching Cyclone Basketball since Tinsley/Fizer.

If the basketball gods are real there would be a match up of ISU/MSU next weekend. Hype train would be rolling for that one!

But for now I am just dreaming of a Burton flush over Swanigan.

You are in for a massive disappointment , Purdue has watched extensive tape on ISU and they know all they have to do is pound the rock in the paint, ISU has no answer to that. To make things worse , some of their bigs hit jump shots and even knock down threes. It has been great run so for this season.....

Swanigan will get his. We win if we lower their 3 percentage to under 30% and keep ours close to 40%+ where it's been for the last 45 days.

I'm still confident if we continue to be locked in, we will be headed to KC. I do expect this game to be closer than Nevada.
