I expect some decent things next season. Prohm has proven his teams can improve throughout the year.
Hopefully it just comes along faster next season.
Closing out tight games was never a strength of this team. Down the stretch they were better - but end-of-game management was an issue throughout the year. I'm not sure tonight was management as much as just the ball not bouncing our way. We had a very unlucky final two minutes.
Simply amazing comeback... Got to give the guys a ton of credit for that. Those 2 late turnovers were brutal. Not ready for this to be over.
Comeback was phenomenal. I thought we'd be lucky to get it within 10, but they just took over (mostly Deonte). They even started the push early enough to make it realistic - it was a game again by the under-8 timeout. In the past, we've waited too long to really have the sense of urgency. Just not quite enough. I'm sick. We got the lead! Then it was gone.
You are wrong. I saw 5 guys sporting the cardinal and gold on the court at all times running their asses off with some shots not falling. I guess it's easier to just blame a few guys for outstanding careers but the vast majority of us feel differently. You are really outstanding in your field and luckily you are very alone.
True, but you can't be horrible during one and win.
I'm not going to come in with high hopes because that feels unfair to a team that's losing as much as we are. There will be the pieces for something good here for sure though with Young, Jackson, Wigginton, and Lard though and with 3 spots open still too.
I feel like this doesn't hold up to a lot of games we've played in the last 6 years or so.
If that makes you feel better then go ahead, but there is plenty on our end to criticize.

I believe with no doubt that we'll dance again next year. It'll be weird because everyone is so new, but we've done that repeatedly in this run.
Sorry to hurt your fee-fees but I'm just pointing out why they lost. That doesn't take away from their comeback or their careers. Pointing out facts isn't being negative. The team, minus Matt, was horrible for 25 minutes. That's why they lost. Plain and simple.
I'm not sure how high my hopes are...I think it will be fun to watch such a young team with some solid pieces and see what happens...I think it might be a fun team to watch.
This was a senior laden team but I remember having a similar feeling last year with the departures of Jameel, Niang, and Nader.
Good group of cyclones. But excited for the future. Ready for some new blood.
