I believe with no doubt that we'll dance again next year. It'll be weird because everyone is so new, but we've done that repeatedly in this run.

I hope they prove me wrong - as I certainly don't expect this. But I'll be watching every night and hoping to see a 7th consecutive trip to the tourney. I'd have to think it would be our most unexpected appearance in recent times. Haven't really had doubts any of these 6 years until the middle of this season. Once Prohm really took ownership of this group (the end of this year), I think we saw the potential for the future. It's high. If we play hard and get better consistently throughout next season, whatever the result is will be good enough for me. Gonna be tough to replace this exceptional senior class.

I'm not sure how high my hopes are...I think it will be fun to watch such a young team with some solid pieces and see what happens...I think it might be a fun team to watch.

This was a senior laden team but I remember having a similar feeling last year with the departures of Jameel, Niang, and Nader.

The difference between last year is Monte Morris is going to be a ***** to replace. Then again, I said the same of Niang last year.

That's what I mean. I'm not expecting a POY candidate but I'm excited to see what guys like NWB, Young, etc. can turn into.

Damn, I still don't feel better. It's irrational but I'd rather we got blown out. We all know this was a game we easily could have won.

That 3P shot ALWAYS goes in. Some day the bounces will go our way, but it certainly feels like that's not the case in the tournament.

Let's land Juiston and a couple other good transfers and make another run next year.

Juiston? I haven't been following along with recruiting as of late.

A 6'7" four with some playmaker ability and a high motor.

It feels like cheating talking about next year. I'm going to miss the seniors, particularly Burton

I just can't figure out why we didn't isolate Burton on Swanigan out of the gate....obvious mismatch and everyone knew it, Painter even talked about it.

hell of an effort, just not our night and can't spot them that many, just sucks....that Purdue team is EXACTLY the matchup you want if you are us. Oh well, fun year, somebody gotta lose in this thing. Hopefully, they can surprise next year.

The problem was the camera angle, just wasn't a good one available.

It's the same question as our Texas football game a year ago. Do you need to see it or is it enough to see what the ball is doing and know there's only one way the ball ends up in a certain place. You could see the ball move a little when the only thing near it was his tricep. Not a terrible call, but technically I think it was out on them.

The play where he traveled twice obviously and then they made a 3 point play was by far the worst in the game.

Heartbreak, agony... Yet I'm happy that I was able to see this team grow and improve so much throughout the season. And it was great to watch Monte, Matt, and Naz for four years. It almost feels like they're family. Thank you Cyclones! Seniors, I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors. You are all great men.

I say this all the time. You spend a couple nights a week for 4 months investing yourself (sometimes at an unhealthy level) in watching these guys and they become a part of your routine. My son would ask when our next game was as one was ending. It's what you do as a fan, and it leaves a pretty big hole when it's over.

This feel like the basketball version of the Rhoads era. Won with another coaches recruits. And he gets praised for the "fantastic" job he did. These clones won on pure talent. Can someone tell me how SP makes this team better? If i were a betting man I would bet we don't see a winning Big12 record again under this regime. Saddens me to say it and I hate to pessimistic, but objectively speaking I think time will reveal this to be true. Unfortunately.....

Pure talent is what we were working off of from November to February 1. Look at the rest of the season if you want to see Prohm making us better. I'm not ready to call him the next Wooden and we'll take some lumps down the road, but the guy can coach and we are in good hands going forward.
