Refs were so inconsistent. Started the game call everything. The second half the called almost nothing. Especially on Baylor.

We need to find a way to play faster in these games. Baylor controlled the tempo. ...and made a bunch of threes

Hard to win on the road, Texas lost at OK State...
Clones did not get the breaks tonight, sucks, but it happens. Still a fun bunch to watch.

If ISU ever wants to win the conference they have to win these types of games. Excuses or no excuses, can't give up the runs that we did to an average Baylor team on the road and expect to win.

That's why KU is still a contender. They'll win games like this.

Agreed. Normally wouldn't be so frustrated after a road loss like this, but Baylor is a bottom half of the conference team and the chances were there to beat them. Now we have to make up for this one by stealing a road W against a top half team.

Agree. This is a 4-14 Baylor team in the Big 12. Gotta win the ones most everyone else will this year.

Games like this is why we will not win the conference. Does anyone here thinks Kansas loses a game like this? We continue to think we can coast through the first half, and then turn it on. We are talented but do not have that killer instinct to take over the game on the road and shove the ball up their ass.
We still rely of the 3, instead of taking the ball to the hoop and getting fouled. We get the miss and then give up the rebound on a free throw.
I know, we are young, we lost one of our big man, but hungry teams find a way to win that game.

while i respect what you're trying to say, the refs had a MASSIVE impact in this game. easily +10 to Baylor and likely quite a bit more. this isn't even CLOSE in an evenly reffed game.
So do they put the asterisk by the loss? It's still a loss. Team needs to learn not to let the bad calls affect them which I think they did. We also didn't play like great teams should on the road. Complaining about the bad calls is a bail out. The team didn't play like it should if it wants to win on the road.

And this is why you are not too bright. Kansas always loses a game like this and we all think they are done. They never are.

Yep, they always lose one like this, maybe even 3 or 4, not 5 or 6 like we are headed. Baylor lost to Texas Southern at home, these are games championship teams win.

I refuse to blame the refs. That’s on us. How many times did NWB drive the lane and not even hit rim? Three? That’s not even counting whatever we want to call that final play. Shayok with an awful late turnover. The bad free throw rebounding effort. Fouling their 83 and 93 percent free throw shooters.
