Ok. Didn't want to google him and all of that. Fred has shown that he is good at taking guys who messed up at one school and succeeded at another. So he is probably going to take some sketchy guys and try it out. It's Nebraska, he is playing with house money. I mean it's the school where Lawrence Phillips rapped and beat a girl and still was declared eligible for the National Title game. The school that Thunder Collins the murderer attended. Win at all costs.

I believe they were shooting BB guns at a car if I remember correctly. Did a few thousand in damage.

Adding a little McDreamy / Transfer U into the mix:

I guess the transfer landscape has changed.

Who cares about the character issues when he’s done nothing good basketball wise?

Yeah. Fred will put him on 24/7 watch like he did with Royce. Student managers are cheap labor.

I wonder how Prohm will play this with THT and LW having until May 29 to withdraw. He has three open schollies assuming those two stay in the draft, right? Target one grad transfer and two sit-out guys or just target one grad transfer and leave both other slots open until after May 29 just in case? I'd hate to miss out on any really good sit-out players but the 19-20 team could use a little immediate help.

Honestly, I think you use at least two of the scholarships, and maybe leave one open for that contingency. Sure, that leaves someone as the odd man out if they both decide to return, but that's the risk they take.

Yeah, I don't know. I'm hoping that THT and LW will know for sure one way or the other well before the May 29 deadline but we'll see. I suppose one thing at a time. Get the players to commit first and then worry about where the scholarship will come from.

I agree with this. Plus, I'm guessing through conversations with the guys Prohm has a good idea on chances of each guy coming back. I'd guess Lindell has maybe a 5-10% chance of coming back. THT is maybe like 25%. I do feel that this date needs to be moved up. Combine should be end of April to accommodate the players.
