Rebounding numbers are attractive. Size reminds me of a Dustin Hogue.
There is only 1 Hogue. Respect the legend

Memphis basketball freshman Antwann Jones has entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Jones averaged 4.7 points and 1.8 assists in 16.7 minutes this past season for the Tigers.

The 6-foot-6 guard ranked as a four-star prospect when entering college, at one point topping ESPN's rankings at the shooting guard position.

He was one of those kids that was like 6'6 his freshman year of high school and rated very high. Then stayed 6'6 and started to fall down the rankings. He never got better from his freshman season to his senior season because everyone caught up with him and he didn't have to work hard. I would pass on him.

I thought he declared for the NBA

He entered his name in the draft from what I am told but is staying in school to get his degree and will see what the NBA guys tell him. From my understanding him and his dad can't stand Patino and his dad thinks he has been mishandled. I would agree every blue blood would be after him but us being close to Minnesota might give us a leg up. I could see Richard blocking Nebraska. Not sure what the big 10 rules are on that type of thing.

Wow. I live in the Twin Cities, and Gopher fans would be livid if this happened. It would really put a dent in the "he's starting to build with the great, local talent" thing that some are starting to hope with Pitino. I don't watch enough Gophers hoops to have a good sense of whether Pitino's any good, but he's at least not as annoying as Fleck and his schtick - ugh. Pitino has been plagued by not having good PGs. Coffey was even the main ball-handler late in the year, which probably doesn't make a lot of sense. Coffey is very mercurial - great one game, invisible the next,... though, he did have a good run to end the season. Agree that many would be after him, including NE.

I have always liked Coffey's game and pretty confident he would have been at ISU if Hoiberg had stayed. I would assume he (and his dad) would like to go to play for Fred but I would assume they would block Nebby.
I don't know if the current staff has much if any relationship with Amir though so not sure if the staff would pursue. Still would be a good option if he wants to finish his career elsewhere and could play the 3 and help replace THT's role.

Can you block grad transfers? I didn't think you could.
