I should have prefaced it by saying "game tying or winning". Off the top of my head, Niang has Iowa and Morris has Iowa and Texas. I'm sure there's others, but again, I know Naz has three against OKState alone.

It was counted as a three, which it was VERY close but I am OK with it. It was not an end of game situation so just part of the flow.
Yes, I agree. Gonzoga was defending the lane pretty good in the end. I don't know if going in there at the end of the game is as great an idea as everyone else thinks. Really don't have anyone that can go inside and mix it up this year, other than possibly Young. It is pretty hard to get the call in the lane at the end of games too. The last shot was pretty brutal, and disorganized, but with no timeouts the players had to wing it.
I thought there were some pretty decent looks from the outside at the end, and the good shooters took them. Maybe some of those were a little quick, but the Zags really were playing pretty good defense at the end. Just too bad they got so far behind, and had to use so much energy to come back.
Currently #34 in adjusted defense on kenpom. 6 games in we are seeing a large improvement from the past few seasons.
You could tell Dickie didn't think Monte deserved the first team AA. Kept saying Morris needed to do more all game. Ended up at 14, 9,5,1,1. That's a terrific game out of a point guard in a game like that.
Gonzaga has a long way to go before they qualify as a Final Four. They are NOT going to shoot another 77% half in tourney this year. They had 27 points from the three and they caved under defensive pressure. I'd put my money on ISU making the final four before Gonzaga. I'd love to play them again in the elite 8 game. I also question if Gonzaga will peak early with those transfers.
Well its the usual cast of characters that do the bashing. Gonna happen anytime ISU loses

I'm thinking they didn't announce it yet with the 3rd place game going on right now.
It's odd to me, but I think that's the deal.
Honestly, though, any given year there are usually 10-15 teams that could easily make the Final Four, sometimes more. Gonzaga is easily in that group this year - I would argue by season's end ISU will be as well.
Agreed but actually a few more teams as March Madness always a bit of a crap shoot.
Extremely frustrating last few possessions. If they're that gassed, why not put in a couple of fresher bodies like Jackson and Weiler-Babb? I guess I also understand wanting your best 5 players out there at the end, even if they are tired.
I really think Prohm having one more timeout would've made a big difference. It's a shame that he had to burn so many in the first 30 minutes of the game, not that I can blame him given how it was going.
