That is false. The bar/restaurant streets of Westport are thriving and doing well. There is a thai restaurant that was featured on the Food Network not long ago. Kelly's, Harpos, and the cigar store are always busy. Westport is a fairly large area and using a blanket statement saying it is an armpit or unsafe is unfair. It's not new, trendy, and "douchy" like the Power and Light is. I go there quite often and have never seen anything out of the ordinary.

Agree. I will be there with a lot of old ISUers. We'll hit up the P&L too, but we will spend a lot of time at Kelly's.

Four of us going down Thursday for the whole men's tourney. My sixth Big 12 tournament. I saw them win the championship my first one and have not seen them win another game since then.
