This deserves a ******* 2nd thread.

We outrebounded them. We committed less TOs than them (despite not having a "PG"). We got to the the FT line 27 times, much more than them.

We did not shoot well, and we will shoot well. Chill.

disappointing, yes

Surprising, no.

The children of CF and the hype they put upon this team, only to cry "It's Over", after a loss to a weaker opponent, well, there is a place for you. It is called Iowa City.

This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Patience, you must have patience.

hey its like all of us wanted to live in the off season. its time to man up and make this team work there is a lot of talent on this squad rome wasnt built overnight. if you didnt think this team wasnt going to have growing pains you are wrong. everyone needs to chill out and support this team.

there is no way you can judge this team on the sample size we have seen.

Right now Iowa and UNI are probably playing better than us.

We bring the ball up court slowly and then we do not have a solid plan to get a decent shot.

Looks like we need to experiment with potential lineups a lot more.

I've been told to be patient for the past 10+ years as a Royals fan and been told to be patient for the 3 years I've been attending ISU. I'm going to be patient, but pretty soon it wears off and people will lose interest fast. I'll be at every home game in Cyclone Alley cheering my *** off, but we played like ***** tonight and there is no getting around that. Hopefully we play (and I think we will) play better Sunday.

Let's face it. Everybody's just ****** they lost all their credits. That's why I never bet on ISU games.

Our fundamentals looked pretty poor tonight. Both teams were careless with the ball.

On the offensive side we missed a lot of layups, and free throws, both are inexcusable. Add on top of that that we also shot pretty poorly from the field, especially Chris Allen. His shot selection was very questionable at times, and we seemed to be rushing long threes just hoping somebody could get hot instead of reigning it in and setting up a good play.

On the defensive side we got burned a lot, and weren't playing good help defense, especially Scotty C. at the point.

We look like a team that desperately needs to gel, but just can't work together. I have faith that eventually they'll get it together, but my hope is sooner rather than later.

I am probably being contradictory and overreacting in the wrong direction. This night was not a positive. I'm oscillating between optimism and pessimism as we speak.

We returned three scholarship players the past two seasons; whoever told you to be patient was right.

Chris Allen: Sorry Cyclone fans about the lost we gone get out stuff together and I will pick up my play too ....#RealSpilll

Not the best typing/grammar I've seen but you get the point.

This "team" played like it has been practicing all year. No surprise in this loss. Sloppy, unorganized, lazy defense, lack of fundamentals, selfish, and individualistic. A work ethic that would make Wayne Morgan proud. Hope this serves as a wakeup call but I wouldn't count on it.
