Only a fan can hope Fuente would show interest in ISU HC job. It is going to take some good money, ISU facilities, and knowing he has big 12 P5 cred to intise him to be potentially ISU's next HC. Sad thing is Memphis and Cinny are both petitioning to come to big 12. So does he wait for that or come early and rebuild ISU?

U could very well be right on Norvell but that's a wait and see. Bc his parents have expressed that they would like Novell to stay close to home. Bc they are big basketball and their son's supporters.
Kostas actually commiting to us would by far be the best way for my joke to be completely ruined.
I'd say he was 6'7" in shoes. I'm 6'4" and stood next to him several times and he seemed like he was quite a bit taller than I was/am. But he was so big. Shoulders were twice as wide as mine
It is some sort of urban legend that Fizer was actually 6'6". He measured 6'8" at the NBA combine.

Yeah we settled this with ejim draft thread. Here are Fizer's nba draft measurement 6'7.5 without shoes 6'9 with shoes. He was 6'6 as an isu recruit and grew a couple inches meaning it isn't unreasonable to expect from his son.

Im surprised VCU is getting the visits / recruits still shortly after Shaka leaving. Im sure next man up is more than capable but still a little surprising.
I was going to say this, but admittedly don't know who replaced Smart. I suppose if it was an assistant that runs the same offense and defense and was heavily recruiting them already, it can be a bit of a seamless transition.
Why would a player want to go to VCU if they were P5 talent? Their schedule would be such a drag to play. They will get a few non-conference nice games based on Shaka's body of work but the conference season would be hard to get amped up for.
huh....the A-10 is solid, puts 4 or 5 teams in the tourney on a regular basis, even with the losses of a couple really good programs that went to the BE.
