hate to interrupt this discussion on Kansas basketball

24 12 and 3 tonight on 9-13 shooting
One thing I really like about him, is his consistency and efficiency. He averages 17 points per game, but only 11 attempts per game. Plus he hasn't attempted a 3, but he shoots over 60% from the floor.

What's the latest on Race Thompson?

Interesting. Haven't heard anything about ISU and him in awhile. Wonder if they moved on?

Yenta was planning a visit after his season is over since he wasn't able to make it for senior night last week. With Prohm busy with tourney prep over the next few weeks I assume we'll hear about a visit set pretty soon likely in April.

This should help with Juiston's recruitment he had listed ISU and Illinois as the two programs he was hearing from the most when he got the KU offer.
Groce had a very good recruiting class coming in too. We'll see how that shakes out now. I do think a couple were legacy recruits so The may stay with the school.

@EvanDaniels Illinois just announced that they have relieved John Groce of his duties as head coach.

Edit: Messi beat me to the post. ;)

@BSnowScout Illinois has a very good recruiting class led by 5-star Jeremiah Tilmon, I'm sure the tampering can really begin now (was already happening)

They didn't get an at-large bid?

Juiston would be a difference maker at ISU!

Juiston in 2017, Thompson in 2018 they fill the one whole in our future.

Seriously if we could get Juiston live with his sub being a 4th guard/wing or playing Young and Lard together leaving plenty of room for Thompson to fill the following year.

A guy like Juiston has to look at ISU as a place he will play a LOT, and early. At KU, he may not see the court for several years, or maybe never because Self is going to keep recruiting over you every single year with McDonald All-Americans.

You realize Juiston is a juco, right? He doesn't have several years.

Although compared to KU we have a far bigger hole for Juiston to seamlessly fill, there's no need to discount Juiston's ability just because you're scared of KU. I think we need him whereas KU wants him, but he's a great college player and not riding the bench anywhere. We have plenty to sell, including a recent tradition built on point-forwards and recruits like him. I doubt the "you're not good enough to play there" is even considered by Prohm.

He'd pair very well with Young's muscle!

Remember when Ejim and Hogue had a friendly competition on who would grab the most rebounds? That would be nice to have again (Young and Juiston).
