Look forward to the game tonight. I went to high school with Kelvin Cato so I've always been an ISU fan from afar. Looking at the discussion most of the focus has been on RJ. The one you really need to worry about is Harrow. There isn't a guard in America who can stay in front of him.. Particularly if you let him go right. He put 27 on Elfrid Payton, who was the #10 pick in the draft.

I'm sure Morris will be guarding him and I think he'll do a credible job. He shut down Napier in the second half in the NCAA tourney game and I didn't see anyone else do that, including UK in the finals. Should be a fun match up to watch.

I learned today Georgia State is the same size as Iowa State. Here we are talking like they are a nobody.

edit - they are a commuter school. nevermind, carry on!

ULL had a lottery pg in Elfrid Payton and a big in Shawn Long who is just as good as Niang. We arent strangers to elite bits.

Can I ask why Harrow transferred from UK? I see he played 27 minutes and averaged 9.9 points per game his freshman year. Was he recruited over?

The politically correct story is that his father is in poor health so he transferred to be closer to him (which is how he got the waiver) Closer to the truth is that he got blamed for Kentucky's poor season and the Harrison twins were coming.

And we play in the Big 12 where elite talent is (almost; see Texas Tech) everywhere. In not scared of Hunter and Harrow.

What is public: His father was sick

What I would guess: Bad grades and a school that needs to "clean up" as much as possible every season

He had offers from NC State, Auburn, and Chatanooga out of high school. That was it.

His recruitment was probably dirty.

Plus if you look at his tape he was more of an And1 player than a skilled pg. This season he gets to show scouts that he can run a team. Although I admit he's more Jamal Crawford than Steve Nash
