anyone planning on going to any shows while in Vegas?

I think some friends and I will go a magic show or maybe Absinthe. The folks I am going with have never been so I am trying to figure out all the things I want to show them.

There is a smaller musical festival on Fremont I may check out.
I was hoping that someone like Santana would be around but I think he's not there that week.

Idk if I would call Life is Beautiful small...

Wife loves Keith Urban. She was upset he cancelled from Iowa State Fair, catching him at Caesars Palace on Friday night before game.

I think Life Is Beautiful is much larger since it has multiple stages like the one I showed and iHeart is in one arena.
Oh OK. Maybe I'll check back into iheart then. I just assumed the Fremont one would be smaller, LOL. Thanks for the heads up.

Hey guys, I don't want to have this go to the cave. I just want this to be informative about going to Vegas and and protocols which may or may not be in place when we go.

Please go to the cave to discuss why any protocols might be in place

Seriously, just keep it away from a debate of masks etc. This is about visiting Vegas for peeps tripping to the game. The sharing of the mask requirement is relevant news for those visiting, a debate over it is not. Deleted the pissing contest posts but don't repeat that here.

@ISUCyclones2015 How important is it to buy tickets now for shows in Vegas? I'm assuming that we will have much more limited options if we wait until we get there. Maybe it is already too late!

If it's a specific show you want to see, I would book as soon as you know the show, especially since they just announced dates and timings for all the shows this fall the last couple of weeks. But you'll be alright up until a couple weeks before the date.

If you just want to see any show, I would wait until the week or even day of and you can get scorching deals. But you have no idea what you'll see and potentially get a bad time like 5pm or 9pm.

Also if you have any more than 4 people that all want to see the same show, I would book ASAP ASAP if you want to sit together.

My wife and I were just in Vegas last week. The casino workers had all just put mask back on the day before we got there and we’re not happy at all. As long as the rest of us don’t have to wear them by the time the game rolls around in September should be a great time. We went to Vegas a couple times during the pandemic and wearing masks out there as you can imagine it’s not super fun.

biggest thing is every restaurant it seems like requires Reservations because there is a shortage of workers right now. Heard from several people working out there saying that lots of people are enjoying benefits from the government versus coming back to work. Keep it in mind as your plan meals do you wanna get those booked ahead of time

Yes that was gonna be my update this weekend, about the meals, reservations and other food/bars/restaurants. Since now most of the ones that will be opened up are already opened up. Compared to my original February post.
