Texas refs took away a safety, and you think it was inconsquential in a close game?

I was talking about another play where they threw a flag because boring basic tackling is apparently illegal. One of the most bizarre flags I’ve seen in my life.

It didn’t end up mattering but only absolutely terrible refs throw that flag. We’d need to convert to flag football if it was rational.

I understand that players did make mistakes. However manning does not put our 1st year starter QB is very good situations at times.
Fumble at the 1 - we have a long strong QB why not sneak from under center. That’s his call
2nd INT - you just ran for 14 yards on the first play then threw the ball 3 times putting him in a tough spot and you’re right he made a bad decision but once again that’s your play calling putting him in tough spots.
Perfect 20-20 hindsight. You should be a OC…on your recliner.

Na dude. We just cheer for a ****** University. And that’s ok
Haha! We won! I just finished the last 5 minutes. We had some company.

Wheesh. We almost found a way to lose that one. Off sides and a 15 yd penalty (20 yard net penalty). then Iowa gets their longest play of the game, I think. then Iowa misses a 47 yd FG to tie.

ISU with the Win!!! GO CYCLONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called it. We are 2-0 to start the year. Now we see how far this team can go.

Gonna be a fun year I think.

Isn’t Saban making about twice as much as Kurt now?

That’s unconscionable.

Thanks but please stop, Iowa will win plenty of games, ISU is a good team - not like years where ISU was a bad team. Iowa will be able to handle many of their opponents.
I said "hoping". Yes we'll beat some sh*tty B1G west teams but this offense is historically bad and I'm hoping for a loss from here on out because it's the only way necessary change might happen.

If by “many”, you mean they’ll probably manage a winning record (especially after they get their injured wideouts back), you’re probably right.

Even Wisconsin looks like trash. Going to be interesting to see who stumbles to the top. Guessing Purdue

They do play OSU finally and I think there’s the possibility a potent offense could demoralize this approach of the special teams being the only offense.

We have seen this for years from him. On the 6 in line and snap the ball 5 yards backwards and run a play that takes 5-10 seconds when you could sneak and have the ball across the line in a second. Less ball exchange is less chance for something to go wrong as well. How many times in the last 4 years have we be denied at the 1 vs times we sneaked and scored?

Iowa defense is going to have to pitch shutouts.....even the dog **** Big Ten West teams can figure out how to cover LaPorta, because Petras and that OL aren't outscoring anyone.

You want to use history? We led the Big 12 in total offense last year. With a less than optimal O Line.

You are nitpicking. At best.
