KF is whining that he talked to people and they said "the ball crossed the plane" and "in the Big Ten that's a touchdown"....sorry Kirk the refs didn't think the ball crossed the plane.
Who's the people he talked to? His wife, his OC, Fran? If RB doesn't have possession when nose crosses goal line- not a touchdown.

I could complain about last ISU drive where ref picked up the flag on pass interference. You either saw it or you didn't.

When did this fan base become so elitist? Getting the win isn't good enough? Now it matters how we get the win? I guess this is more Matt Campbell being a victim of his own success and raising the bar.
Probably some of that. I think a lot of us want a convincing win over Iowa. A game where we dominate and it’s not close. They’ve had that over us, we want the taste.

I’m actually pretty excited about the potential for this team if we can just play smarter and quit self destructing.

We doubled Iowa in passing yds, rushing yds, and ran 26 more plays. It was a dominating performance folks. Just have to clean up the stupid mistakes and I think we’re pretty darn salty.

There is some potential there. I'm just prepared for them to be a little uneven in 2022. It's good to know that was likely the best defense across the board we'll face this year and still came out with a win on the road.

They had like 280 yards less offense, it’s a freaking miracle his team was that close. He can keep focusing on that when 99.9% of teams at all levels field a qb.

When you watch this game... one team was clearly a lot better than the other... and that was ISU. We just kept shooting ourselves in the foot.

Our offense was WAY better than theirs, and our defense was better too by quite a bit. Special teams were awful though, and unforced turnovers killed us.

You want to use history? We led the Big 12 in total offense last year. With a less than optimal O Line.

You are nitpicking. At best.
In the stat the matters, ISU finished 7-6 last year.

We can be happy for the win today, while still observing that Campbell and Manning haven't figured out how to prepare the ISU offense to not start slowly/poorly against good defenses. It is what it is. I hope that changes by the time BU rolls around in a couple of weeks...probably going to need more than 10 points in that one.

We always have a less than optimal O line… we still have one of those this year. You would think he would be used to that by now. We also had one of the best if not the best RB in the country and 2 other NFL draft picks at skill positions.

And also just a note last year we were 4th in the big 12 in total yards and YPG last year.
I don’t believe you watched todays game if your impression of the O line was poor. I’m guessing your a deep cell sleeper troll.

LMFAO! And that record had very little to do with the offense…

I think losing that game with the opportunities available and having so many things continue to go wrong would have been pretty awful.

Any win is great...thinking a bit, it would have been much better to have ISU win by like 3-4 TDs so Iowa fans have no excuses to lean on. Those will start to pile up over the next few days.
