Great W! Our guys are most definitely bought into what Coach Prohm expects outta them.

We have our shortcomings like about everyone else...but we've got a group of warriors! No excuse for an empty seat in Hilton Saturday.

Be prepared to hear it now buddy. Don't tell people on here we have shortcomings we need to improve on, they will rip you a new one. Oh wait, no they won't, your name isn't clonedude, so you'll probably get a "Winner" vote. Yep, sure enough.

TT looked bad on that last play because we played great defense. Jackson stopped the driver cold at the three point line, and when he passed it, everyone had tight coverage. Just really, really good defense.

I think back to some of those early years under Fred where it seemed that late 3 from the opponent always went in. Some of it's luck but some of it is being in the right spot or not.

We just as easily could have lost that game as win it the way we handled the last few minutes (which it should not have come down to), and I'm going to blame the head coach nearly every time over a student athlete, that's for sure in those situations.

Because the coach is the guy who was on the court kicking the ball out of bounds and commiting stupid charging fouls. Oh wait, that was Deonte Burton (whose game is an endless enigma). Great win! On to Hilton and Baylor!

I get that, but right now, I don't want to focus on logical reasoning. I want to complain about how frustrating it was to watch our defense get picked apart by the 6th, 7th, and 8th men, and then tomorrow I'll come back to reality. To be fair though, our free throws from December/early January to now have gotten SO much better. We lose this type of game a month and a half ago.
On Chris Williams' instant podcast, he said that ISU "caught some breaks tonight." So, I'm not the only one. I didn't say that caught EVERY break but TTU had at least 3 easy fast break chances that they didn't finish.

Monte NEEDS a few days off. You could tell he has tired legs tonight. Great job by him logging a ton of minutes tonight.

He has assists, and will have steals, but is he in the mix for total minutes record from an ISU player? I feel like he has to be close.

I can't believe TT only had 6 turnovers and we still won. Tons of credit to our boys for hanging in there at the end. The refs were calling everything against them and instead of getting pissed off like I was they just dug deep and found a way to win.

They say march is all about guard play and we have one of the best back courts in the country. This is going to be a really fun last month. With all of these guys leaving after this year and pretty much starting over, can we please just enjoy this, root on our guys like hell and see what happens.

This.

Baylor, WV, KSU...all got L's at TCU...and we get our 5th road win. And we do it missing 2 starters and 2 freshmen at the end. Enjoy the win...great, gutsy victory.

The amount of road wins is lumping them in with the Kane/Ejim group for grittiness and relentlessness. People will come from miles around to not let it be since it's not a Dreamy team, but it's absolutely worth thinking about.

**** that caught some breaks. I call it karma for the bs reffing and they got plenty breaks with the flukey way the ball was bouncing for them.

Through out the game I felt we were the better team and TTU was catching breaks from either the gd worthless reffing or some miracle bounce.

Most teams have shortcomings. Enjoy the wins. Good teams overcome their shortcomings and win.

ISU's breaks came in frantic play, Tech's breaks were courtesy of Hollywood's crew getting whistle happy to even have a chance at OT.
