So I don't want to be a complete Debbie downer but does anyone else realize how bad we are going to be next year? "Our 3 Starters" (young, babb and Jackson) cored 4 points combined. We legit might end up 10th in the big 12 next year. Basketball is going to fall as coast as football rises and that's just sad.

As I said in the game thread, just that one glaring fatal flaw, and teams beat us over the head with it. Guys need to play that way against every team and they'll get enough to dance.

This, play hard every game and that is all we can ask. They have struggled against every team with size. Just play havoc small ball and I would include pressing. Big teams without good guards may struggle and turn the ball over. But we just aren't going to beat good teams getting killed on the boards and giving up layups.

The miss on Emmanuel Malou looms large over this game, and not having Cameron Lard. We need scorers. Honestly, I thought we'd get blown out.

For whatever reason, we do not work for good shots on Offense, no BB expert, but we are too reliant on iso's and the two man game. We do nit make our opponents work on defense.

I will give Prohm credit on big time improved defense, and we are now starting games well. Last year we'd get down by 20.

We really need Bab to produce. I'm sure Bowie is an all world kid, 4.0 student, great samaritan, and future president of a college or business. He's not a big12 basketball player, which then leads to us playing 4 on 5?

It's pretty amazing what we can do with what we put out there. We're going to be fine at home the rest of the way and it's nice to have KU out of the way.
We do a excellent job of turning teams over, but give those possessions, and more, back with a severe lack of rebounding.

Having said that, if they can find a way to shoot just a little better, especially from 3, then we'll be ok.

He's averaging over 8 pts 5 rebs per game. No he isn't all conference but he plays hard and he's the best option we've got right now. If you're looking for a Niang, check in Indiana.
