Excited about our region. Probably the weakest 1-4. Actually I think New Mexico might be the best of the 4. Couldn't have asked for a better #1 or #2.

This is an interesting matchup. Both teams were really good at home, but didn't show up in games on the road.

They have a decent point in Atkins, who doesn't score a ton. Connaughton is a shooter and Grant is a good all-around player, then they have 4 big slow guys in the post, keeping them off the offensive glass will be a key. I think our posts will cause them matchup problems. This will probably be a game in the 80's.

Anyone know any "American Bars" in Istanbul that show NCAAB? If we make it to the Sweet 16, that's where I'll be during it. They love basketball over there, but it's pretty much all NBA and EuroLeague. Last year I had to wake up a few times at like 4am to watch our games via ESPN GameCast, haha

Oh, but they have. "CFH one of the best offensive coaches in the NCAA." "ISU always has five players on the floor who can score." Very good respect.

That was ESPN. CBS barely acknowledged us. Too busy saying how the B1G is the best conference in basketball I guess.

Would have rather played Creighton in the first then Duke. ND is an intriguing match-up though, but playing OSU in Dayton sucks (they are always good in the tourney and we have to play in their back yard).

ND's 3pt FG defense isn't good (77th in the nation). In fact, ISU has better 3 pt defense. (47th in the nation)

Should be able to get it streaming through CBS like last year if nothing else (It was free if you signed up early, but like $5 if you paid.)

Da dunchhhhhhhhh but seriously, haha. Knowing my luck though the game would be on at like 4am there. Good thing some bars/clubs are still open at 4am/5am there.

Yeah, that's probably worst case scenario. I'll be bringing my tablet, although my girlfriend will be bringing her Mac. Pretty sure our place has wireless. Prefer a bar type of setting though, but oh well!

One interesting thing is that since Scott Martin got hurt, ND plays 8 guys, 4 guards and 4 bigs.

Atkins and Grant basically play all game, and Connaughton plays most of the game. The only guard off the bench is Biedscheid, a good looking freshman who is 6'7" but skinny.

So they always have 2 of their 4 bigs on the floor at a time. What's interesting is that we almost always make teams go small to try to guard us on the perimeter. I don't think ND will be able to do that. Of course, keeping Ejim and Niang out of foul trouble is important, especially because I think they will have a big offensive advantage.

Love the ND match up. They make teams shoot jump shots, advantage us.

OSU, IMO, is not a good match up based off of how they play. Lucious could have a long game against Craft.

I'm sure there is a bar that will have it, but no idea where.

I saw Notre Dame a couple of times this year. What I remember is that they had some pretty good size, are a good passing team, and shoot the 3 quite a bit.....not as much as ISU, but then who does? This is a winnable game for ISU, but everybody has to show up ready to play. Big East is still a pretty good conference, and ND did all right there, including beating Cincy twice. .

A bar that knows there's more to basketball than the NBA. Literally 75% of the time last year when I said I was from Chicago (after they found out I wasn't local, LOL), the first thing they'd almost always say was "Chicago Bulls!!!" They even have a little pizza chain there called "PizzaBulls" where the logo is the Bulls' logo.

I won't cross my fingers, lol
