Yes because if I'm an AD, I'm totally taking the opinions of people on how to coach from everyone that played in the Pee Wees 20 years ago.

You know I thought that too once, and I emailed JP a long, long time ago and he actually took something I wrote to him into consideration and did it. I'm not going to say what it was but the important part is that he listened. I wasn't talking about JP though anyway. If there's enough people criticizing the coach, the coaches themselves will say "are you ******* kidding me?" and it might force them to do a better job.

If you give people ****, they will rise up and try and prove you wrong. Believe me.

Well, good game y'all. Fun to watch.

UNI's experience won this game in my opinion. Btw, I predicted a 66-60 UNI win. Not far off

The better team won this game. Koch was the best player on the court. Clones have/had no answer for Eglseder. Panthers were tougher and wanted it more.

And look whos coming to town Friday, who have absolutely nothing to lose and will out hustle us if we play the way we did tonight, I can already taste the **** pie from all the smack I've been talking about the hawks.

If we play like we did tonight... Iowa will beat us... plain and simple. I'm already preparing for it in fact. Lickliter is a much better coach than GMac... he just doesn't have the talent he needs.

If Iowa is hitting their outside shots, we will lose. I fully expect Cougill and Cole to dominate us like Egleseder and Koch did tonight. We have nobody that can stop Cougill or Cole from scoring on us down low... none.

And that little punk Cully Payne will get to the paint anytime he wants, and he will find the open guy. Iowa doesn't have much talent, but they will do what they are told at least and are disciplined. It will be close, but shouldn't be. GMac will make it a close game.

Better start listening to the fans somehow, before we don't have any anymore. Not saying they can coach any better, not saying I could coach any better, but I'd say right now, there are about 100 or so people who could coach better. And probably 11 in our own conference. I'm sorry, he's had his time. Mark my opinion isn't going to change. We need a new mens basketball coach at ISU.

I admit I wasn't ecstatic about GMAC when we hired him. I thought the coaching would be fine, but the recruiting would struggle. However it's been just the opposite. Between Taylor, WJ, Brackins and others he's gotten talent to Ames.

We need the DG from the first handful of games, keep up the assists and be selective on his shots, tonight was perfect on what he should not be allowed to do.

Brackins needs to DEMAND the ball, lose the unselfishness. All other solutions are BS.

Colvin is a turnover machine, though I have big hopes for him. Give Buckley some time and let Colvin ease in.

Don't know what to do with Lucca, hits 10 one night so I say give him the green light, then he takes it literally and fires from everywhere at really bad times on the shot clock.

Dendy needs to take time off to heal up the knee, or atleast lets use that as an excuse because he was dreadful tonight and the shot he took was unexcusable.

Gilstrap needs to show us who he really is, I have no idea what to expect him from night to night.

G-Mac needs to get these guys on the same page and as I've said all night, you cannont be outhustled.

Tonight is over for me...time to sleep this one off.

Terrible shot by Dendy! I still think we can have a strong season. People need to calm down a little. We have a tough schedual so obviously we will have some disappointing defeats. We have a long way to go. Its very disappointing to keep losing to UNI all the time. Shouldnt ever lose to teams like them. Like I said before long way to go.

Very concerning statistic:

Rebounds / Offensive ribbies

ISU: 28 / 6

UNI: 36 / 13

See, I don't get it. If I were CB or Ham or Dendy or ANYONE I would post this stat in my locker and stare at it for 5 minutes everyday. Just let it soak in that you got punched in the face in hilton and did NOTHING about it. Rebounding is literally 90% desire, you have to WANT it more than the other guy(s). We just don't....

BRING BACK FLOYD, WE SHOULD HAVE NEVER LOST BY ONE POSSESSION IN EITHER OF THE LAST TWO GAMES AND MAC IS MAKING EXCUSES ON HIS POST GAME INTERVIEW LIKE IT WAS ILLNESSES, A FEW BAD BOUNCES, ETC. FOR OUR LOSSES. WE WON'T AMOUNT TO ANYTHING AS LONG AS HE'S OUR COACH.

Wow, if those aren't words to live by.

Sorry, I forgot to put the phrase "when they deserve it" in there somewhere.

I'm sorry, but even in a professional career/job if you aren't rising up to your "potential," do you think your peers are going to sit there while you underperform? Nope, they will talk to you. Fortunately in business, these types of things are easier. Getting something to a coach is a little harder.

Can anyone tell what we are doing on offense at all?

I will take a stab at that one. From what I saw our guys are running around lost, trying to play one on one, forcing terrible shots, nobody is crashing the boards, we like to throw passes to invisible guys that end up out of bounds, etc... Our set plays coming out of timeouts are some of the worst plays I have ever witnessed in my life. I want to puke just thinking about it.

I'm so sick of hearing about experience. It's the easy way out of an excuse for the coaching. We have no leader on the floor, it kills us.

I'm so po'd I won't even sleep tonight. I wish John Walters would nut up and ask the gd questions that need to be asked!!

Good game by your Panthers. They deserved to win. You've got a good coach there.

Talent doesn't always beat good disciplined fundamental basketball... in fact it rarely does. I just wish GMac realized it.

UNI did exactly what it wanted to all night long, and GMac couldn't figure out how to stop them or make it our kind of game. UNI wanted a slugfest, and that's how the game was played. Credit goes to UNI for that. But if UNI out played us physically, I'm very concerned what the Big 12 teams will do to us. We're not that good.

Simple fact.......in his time here......GMac has no signature wins........NONE! But there are plenty of games lost that should not have been lost. He gets out-coached regularly.

LE, Floyd, Orr didn't win every game. But they rarely got out-coached.
