Going to OT tied 2-2. Gadson was in on a shot as time expired. He's really loosened up as the match has progressed.

Takedown Gadson for the win! I was hoping to see more dominance but he really came alive as the match went on. I think he's going to improve a lot from now to March.

ISU leads 7-3 after three matches.

Gibson wins it 4-3 and almost gave up a takedown at the end. ISU up 10-3 after four matches.

Not very impressed so far. I think part of it is ODU's defensive style but only Beard was in control of his match the whole time. We are very flat today.

Finch gets taken down and gets out right away. Came right back with a good shot and scramble but wasn't quite able to score before the ODU guy got out of bounds. Down 2-1.

Finch loses it 4-5. ODU wrestler just stalled out the entire third period and didn't get called on it until the end. Ref let him get away with it.

ISU leads 10-6 after 5 matches.

Meeks goes down 6-3. ODU guy rode him out the third period for the win and a couple stalling calls on Meeks.

ISU up 10-9 after 6 matches. Goettl up next in what should be the match of the day. Both guys are ranked in the high teens.

Not what I was hoping for from Finch and Meeks. Season is young and they will get better, but I was hoping for solid starts from both.

Goettl loses 5-3 in OT. He was gassed and gave it up at the end.

ODU up 12-10 with three matches left.

Matt White up at 149. Hoping he can keep it to a decision.

White gets pinned in a banana split. He's injured and was signalling that when the ref called the pin. Mistake by the ref there - he should have stopped it and awarded 4 back points to the ODU wrestlers.

ISU down 18-10 with two matches left. Not looking good right now.

I was expecting the Iowa meet to be ugly. But if we wrestle like this next weekend we'll be lucky if we only lose 40-0.
