Omaha reminds me a little of Arthur Kaluma, Creighton Freshman this past year. Some of us were hoping he might follow TJ to ISU, as he was a prized UNLV recruit at the time of TJ's hire.

I'm not sure at all who is the better player, Kaluma vs. Biliew. Omaha hasn't even played his Senior year of HS yet. But Kaluma had a pretty good first year at Creighton, 10 ppg or so.
Arthur has a more refined offensive game, and I think that was true in HS. But Omaha has a significant advantage in athleticism. That is what's making him a 5 start prospect, its simply something he has that others dont.

Tyrese went to Texas, and it’s a question how much further he’ll develop there. He chose the short term payoff over the long term investment.

That may backfire on him. Not least, since the Longhorns have a mega recruit freshman PG.
Texas must have made Tyrese an offer he couldn't refuse. And this 5* incoming PG signed last July, '21, so Tyrese knew what he was doing. Looks like he might not get the playing time he could have had elsewhere. I don't see Morris sitting on the bench a whole lot.

Anyway, another layer of interest to watch, concerning Tyrese, the next year or two. There is definitly a different culture in Texas FB and BB.
Threaten to kill me or something like that and your account will be deleted LOL
You haven't been THAT bad yet. Try to behave! LOL

Tyrese looks homesick on the UT video they put out with him in the weight room IMHO. On one frame, looks lost as they tell him what to do. Talented yes, happy, no.
Full disclosure, I have not seen the video you’re talking about, however I will ask…does he ever look “happy”?

Maybe this? Although I don't know where one would get homesick or lost from this video. Just looks like a guy working out...

I'm gonna always pull for Tyrese. Never Texas though! Kid's been thru a lot.

Just wish he wouldn't have chosen TX or any other Big12 team.

I really hope ISU fans aren't too hard on him this year. Tyrese hopefully will always favor his time in Ames. And I hope he remembers that when he makes the League.

I wouldn't hold my breath on him making the NBA. One of the reasons I don't hold it against him trying to make what he can while he can.

It's very hard for 6'1" or shorter players to make the NBA. I'd be more surprised if he makes it long term than doesn't. He'll get a shot though.

He’s going to get boo’d so loud at Hilton.
