Omaha Biliew Commits to Iowa State!

I honestly believe he’s better than Harrison Barnes. He does EVERYTHING. I’m having trouble containing my hype for next season.
Billew is good but it is really premature to compare him to a current NBA player.
Agreed I’d be interested in what his vertical is. He has a quick jump. He seems to be able to do everything and looks easy for him.
Is it though?? If we were back in the days of drafting high school kids I guarantee Omaha goes first round somewhere right now.

I'm not saying he his even close to high school Kobe, as he is not the ball handler or shooter that Kobe was. Amazing to see how good Kobe was.
Whether he is as good as Barnes was in high school, I don't know, but the raw potential is there. His ceiling is higher than Barnes?
He is a 5 star. Barnes is a nice player, but its not like he's saying he's going to be KD.
They've never thought about how a team up 19 with a minute left are gonna have some fun either way.
I'd say they'd prefer he get into a fight or yell at the refs but we know what they'd be saying then and it's not 'Hok tough'.
There is some really disturbing character assassins on social media. Everyone who I know who has been around Omaha have nothing but great things to say about him

Nothing surprises me about the stupidity of some of those Hawkeye fans.
Yup from everything I’ve heard and seen he could not be a nicer person. It’s amazing he keeps his cool they way he does with all the things opposing fans are chanting and saying to him on a nightly basis.
Not every 5 star players become successful NBA player like Harrison Barnes. Billew is good and I am really excited about his future at ISU. His dunk was great but I was more impressed with his 3 pointer and smooth looking jump shot, which showed he is more than just an athletic freak.
Who was selected to team USA and won an Olympic gold medal (as last guy off the bench, but still on team USA)
Harrison was a little more polished at that age but Omaha is no doubt more athletic. His explosiveness and quick twitch movements is off the charts.
