Anybody know what the injury rates on these programs are? I'd assume since it's not running the impact on joints would be less.

I did Insanity for a couple of months and lost a bit of weight. It was difficult for me because my feet would start hurting so bad that I had to stop in the middle of workouts. I tried basketball shoes, running shoes, cross trainer shoes, and barefoot but didn't get any relief.

This makes me laugh.. I had the same problem I started working out doing class's at a gym, and got shin splints when we started running out side in the spring.. I had bought a NEW pair of $100 plus Nikes... come to find out it was the shoes that were giving me the shin splints... ANYWAYS point is I started wearing basketball shoes and have continued to with no problems.. Everyone gives me **** about it, but I dont really care..

I spend most of my spring and summers running and I've had some brutal shin splints and hip soreness from it. So far, other than the general aches and pains I've had from doing things I don't normally do, My body has been great.
One thing that has stuck with me that I heard quite a while ago is that at one of the Orthopedic clinics in DSM, the highest rate of injuries they have from workout programs comes from those doing crossfit. No idea why.
