Your logic says that you can compare Brian Scalabrine to Lebron James because Scalabrine gets on a team and helps them with his "good attitude" and "work ethic" just like Lebron helps his team with MVP crowns and championship rings. Come on, really?!
So in other words you're saying Percy is going to pull a Scalabrine and come back as Fred's assistant coach in 3 years? NICE!

Percy has potential but he never broke it open. I was hoping to see more from him this past season but just didnt happen. Wish him the best where ever he ends up.

Percy Gibson has been nothing but a good "clubhouse guy" for the last 2 years. Will, Chris, and Korie were starters on very solid NCAA tournament teams. No you can't compare them. You just can't.
You just did. Literally in the two sentences before that.

This ****** will write itself if/when we use the scholarships. If Fred brings in a couple of transfers and signs another HS recruit, then you have to think he was making room. If he banks the scholarship (doesn't get someone to take it), then it will be Percy looking for playing time.

Edit: Why does s-c-r-i-p-t get censored?

For the tenth time, that word in programming calls up the demons. Avoid like the plague. Google it.

Would "contrast" be a better word choice, your majesty?

If Percy wants to sit a year he will have no problems landing with a D1 school. If he wants to play next year he obviously can't go D1. It's all up to him, and he will have no problems finding a home. He will have a successful year wherever he goes, assuming he doesn't go to another loaded team.

He started for a team that won a tournament game and was eliminated by the National Champions.

Percy was a great cyclone. I personally knew one of the players on the team and they said Percy (along with SDW) are the funniest guys in the locker room. Percy was always enthusiastic even when he wasn't playing. I'm bummed hes going but its pretty obvious he'd struggle to get minutes next year. I really hope he just tears it up wherever he lands. Thanks for your efforts and time to cyclonenation Percy!

I can only say Percy did his job and was a role model. He should do well at his next school. No reason to disparage him. People transfer all the time. The guy that was not cool was Bluford.

Just curious. What did Bluford do that wasn't cool?

Couldn't handle not getting playing time even though it was obvious he wasn't ready to play at this level quite yet. Came in and would just jack up a 3 every time he got the ball. He could be a high volume shooter sure, but he was a blackhole with the ball. He couldn't handle not working harder and getting himself into the rotation so he just up and quit in the middle of the season.

Side note: it seems so idiotic to just quit in the middle of the year. He quit end of the non-conference schedule. So transfer either way, now or at the end of the season and he still sits out a year. He would of been better served to at least be practicing against Big 12 players and weight training and getting coached by Hoiberg and staff instead of quitting and just trying to stay in shape on his own. Unless he transferred to Northern Arizona at semester and was with their team for the 2nd half of the season.

Either way, not cool

What's not cool is bashing a kid without any actual knowledge of the situation.

Bluford flunked out of school and had no choice but to leave... bash him for his academics, not for saying he pulled a "Lucca" leaving mid season.

How do you flunk out of school in one semester? Do they no longer have academic probation?

On that point, how does an athlete flunk out of school? You obviously had the minimum scores to get in, have all the help in the world to pass, have something to work for besides just a degree, and have a team depending on you. Goood gracious.

Because some of them read at an elementary school level.
