Also for you people that are worried about our DL recruiting, it would be our 3rd pick up of the year

Any one know why he's unrated by rivals? He's got a couple of other 3 star guys at his school. Plus there are a ton of articles on him. Seems kinda odd.

What's funny is that he isn't the biggest of the bunch. 6'4" 241lbs, 6'4" 265lbs, 6'5" 230lbs.

Have to like his size at 6-4 and 265. Any more news about his ACT?
The only question was whether he would score the 30 needed for Northwestern.

With that size...I've got to assume we are looking at a DT.
CycloneReport.com - Aka hoping for more BC interest
"Well Iowa State says I could either be an H-back or defensive lineman, or maybe an offensive lineman, and Minnesota wants me to play tight end," said Aka.
I take it that he's a "raw athlete" type--much as David Irving was. Seems like a nice steal, with time to develop!

Great size, and must be somewhat athletic to play tight end so with a year or two to develop he could be a really good.

This guy is already big enough to play.

With all the recruits we've signed already, the coaches will be able to spend all of their recruiting time on just a few guys. We may be able to pick up a "highly touted" prospect.

They have verballed, not signed. And thats the scary thing. They can still be poached away. Its not over until pen meets paper.

I don't know if this is the reason, but he moved to Wisconsin from Texas before his junior season and sometimes when that happens, scouting services lose track of the guy. I believe we're looking at him as a TE too, unfortunately.

Ah, yes the guy who constantly expects the bad to happen.

I will bet 23 dollars he doesn't play TE. I could be wrong though.
