The end of the Gonzaga game, the end of regulation in this game, and the end of OT was just horrible. I don't understand what they were trying to do on offense in any of those 3 scenarios.
Just throwing up contested 3 point jumpers is not a good plan.

Agree. Last 2 losses are all on Prohm. Absolutely no plan on offense in the last minutes of Gonzaga game, last minutes of this game, and the OT of this game. Some of the worst offensive basketball I've ever seen.

And as Prohm himself has admitted, we don't have an offense yet. Not even installed and have barely begun to work on it. It's all been defensive work so far. Wut? What is your job Steve? Should we only pay you half as much if you're only going to work on half of the game of basketball?

I think we got spoiled with Hoiberg, he was the king of running successful set plays out of timeouts. Prohm hasn't shown a lot of promise in this area, and our end of game situations have been a hot mess lately.
This is what I was going to say, college coaches in general seem to be horrible at drawing up last second plays, or at least getting their team to actually run them. Prohm is far from alone in this, Hoiberg really did spoil us.

Need to use a timeout there at the end. But guys were just standing around.... Prohm isn't the play wiz Hoiberg was, but guys gotta make an effort

It isn't a bad loss as Cinci is a good team. However, it is disappointing as these are games we should win at home.

This team desperately misses Georges. Before the year I thought we'd be a 4-6 seed in the NCAA's. Changing that thought to a 7-11 seed by what I've seen so far
When you are (supposedly) a top 25 team you shouldn't lose at home. Especially when your home is Hilton freakin' Coliseum.

End of game management is less than i would expect out of a senior backcourt.

Disappointed but we still have a lot of season to play. Our biggest mistake early one was letting Cinci control the tempo. They had no reason beating us, let alone in Hilton, but their chance was slowing down the game and making it ugly. IIRC, the last non-conference team to beat us in Hilton was UNI and they did the exact same thing. Very similar score I think too.

We are horribly coached at the end of games. Prohm needs to take a look in the mirror. We handed the game away on a silver platter at both the end of regulation and OT. I'm glad we had those two Timeouts to take to the locker room with us.

The game should have been over with the turnover with less than a minute left in regulation.

I really hope this team can improve but we are in a lot of trouble the way we are playing right now. Does everyone else think we will get better or were people like me expecting way too much out of this team this year?

Losing by two to a top 10 team and by 1 in OT to a P5 team picked to win their league. We're ******. Call it all off. JFC. Our basketball fan base has become spoiled off of what amounts to very little in the grand scheme of things.

We will be fine. Cincy is the exact type of team we will struggle with this season, especially if our shots aren't falling. Guarantee we won't have another game this bad offensively.
West Virginia? Baylor?

They are trying to make Burton be like Niang. He isn't even close to that level.
