Missing football this weekend. Wondering what everyone thought about this game. Rhoads has only lost 1 night game since he has come to Ames. That won't change ISU 28-20. We will be 100% and full strength for the first game this season. I expect the penalty and turnover issues to be in rear-view.

31-17 ISU. I have a feeling that we'll play well and Texas is still not the Texas of old. Jack Trice Stadium goes WILD.

Wow...can you pass me some of that stuff you're drinking there? Must be good!

I'm going Iowa State 28-27.

This is going to be a tough, tough game and Texas is going to have extra motivation given we beat them in their house last year.

Hah, just a Pepsi (not spiked). I don't think this prediction is that crazy. I think we will buck the trend and clean up turnovers and penalties. The crowd will be in a frenzy to start the game. We'll score first and keep a one to two score lead the rest of the way.

As much as I would love ISU to win this, I think Texas runs the ball effectively against our D. While Texas is young, I think Mack Brown has them focused this time around. Iowa State is 3-0, but all of those wins had plenty of mistakes. Jantz cant throw any picks/the offense has to start hot if we are to win this one.

ISU has been hard for me to predict so far this year. I thought we would easily beat UNI, lose by a couple touchdowns to the Hawkeyes, and beat UCONN soundly going in to all the games. My logical side tells me that Texas will win by 10, but since my logic has been proven wrong every game so far, that obviously means ISU will win 31-27. GO STATE!

If we can cut down on the number of damn flags and not turn the ball over we may have a chance.

At the moment I have TX 35 ISU 20

Depends what team shows up and if we can buck some of the earlier trends we seem to have shown thus far in three games. We CANNOT come out slow as we have all three games, our offense must be firing on all cylinders right out of the gate to get and maintain a lead and hopefully some seperation. If we turn the ball over a bunch its gonna get ugly.

This will define I believe how good of a team we are...this game against Texas.

I have Texas 38 - ISU 24......but I could see us beating them by just as many. Its an odd team and QB to figure out this year, you can tell by vegas lines that they cant figure them out either this year.

I had ISU starting out 4-0 in my preseason look, although I had Gilbert as the QB for Texas. I am sticking with my prediction. ISU goes to 4-0 with a win, something like 30-20.

Last year we were tough at home and this year looks to be the same. I think JTS will be rocking on Saturday night. Cyclones win 31-28.

If we can play a FULL game up to our potential, we will win and with relative ease. Our defense has been surprisingly good thus far and our offense can finally produce fairly consistently this year.

I think this will be reminiscent of 2005 at A&M where we snap out and play a COMPLETE game to our potential. Except this time we're at home!

ISU - 30
Texas - 13

Man... thinking of 2005 at A&M, made me RE-realize how good we could have been that year and how special of a year that could have been...
