I think it depends on how Texas plays on D. I watched them give our below average receivers a 10 yard cushion last year, like they didn't watch a single minute of tape on what our offense does.

If Jantz can minimize mistakes, and they play a generic 4-3 D like last year, I think we'll win. I'm assuming we'll get screwed by the refs, they hate it when Texas pays them, and still loses like last year.

I'm not going to predict this game because things don't go the way I predict if I do predict them. However, since I know people from shaggybevo will be reading this, I would like to request more Thujone drawings. Make it so.

Texas 35 ISU 17. Hope I am wrong, but Texas takes turnovers and turns them into points. If we turn the ball over like we have done so far this year, fans will be leaving early. Hope I am wrong

We'll have to play cleaner than we've played any game this year to have a shot at the Horns. They have too much talent, we can't give them help with the TO's and penalties.

They have a lot of talent, but I think that with two weeks Wally will have the right game plan to shut them down defensively (though they will likely get a few big plays because even the best game plan can't overcome speed). The question is whether our O-line can protect Jantz and open up holes for the running game and whether Jantz can play decently before the 4th quarter.

I'm not really sold on the defense yet. I still believe this to be the toughest game played by ISU yet, even though I'm not completely sold on Texas either. Their struggles against BYU indicate that they should be beatable, but I think the revenge factor is going to come into play big time.

Close loss by the Clones, 35-31
