Re: Some love for Chris Allen

Huge game for Chris Allen, he showed good leadership throughout tonight!

Also Chris Babb is basically giving up playing offense for us right now to play shut down D. He shut down whoever it was that had multiple 3's in the first half.

I have been ALL OVER Chris Allen this year. He was fantastic tonight when it counted most, good for him. Really happy for him!

In my opinion hes is the key to this team being special!!!

He and I are friends (not close but we talk) and he came over to my place after the KU game and looked like his dog just died after a huge upset. I know he disappointed in his play but happy for the team.

Great to see him playing up to what you all expect from him! #HiltonMagic!!!

For some reason I just thought Allen would show up big tonight. Glad it worked out. Great job young man, way to bounce back! That is what winners and leaders do. Build on it.

I thought Allen responded absolutely perfectly. He played a controlled game, but was a main contributor. He hustled for balls more than I have ever seen this year. Really solid game from the senior.

Allen played balls out today. Excellent shot decision and making hustle plays all over the court.

I was most impressed with what he did after the game...White and some other guys were playing to the crowd celebrating on the other side of the court and Allen went dragged everyone back to the bench side of the court to shake hands with the K-State players...

I've said it before, he's our best spot up 3 point shooter, he just never does it. He just always does an off balance shot. Today he did spotted up for a trey 3 times and made all 3, and that gave him confidence in other phases of the game.

Tonight was Chris' best game as a Cyclone. He was a major key to this win. I've been critical of him, but I hope this marks a turning point for me. It occurs to me that KSU plays the same kind of aggressive, physical ball that MSU plays. Perhaps that seemed familar to Chris and allowed him to get into a comfort zone.

I'm so happy for Chris. I've been cheering for him to do well all year and I'm so glad he picked tonight to have the best game in a Cyclone uniform.

I was planning on starting this exact thread. Great job by Allen - had to be his best game of the year and biggest team contribution of the year. For him to do it on the heels of last game, he should be very proud of the way he responded. Great game!
