Went to attached leads from battery minder to Das Audi last week. It just sits so much I have to treat it like a stored or hibernated car. Pop the hood and I am all "Where's the battery?"

Check behind the engine between the wipers where they had inconveniently located the battery on my previous Audi. Pop a little hatch and see a smaller hatch with a big red + on it. Getting close I think so pop the smaller tap over. And it is just a positive post. No battery. Give in and get manual out. What I had found was a jumper post, also had a matching negative one over by fender. And battery is in the trunk. Under a cover that's under the tire that's under the trunk floor hatch that's under my WeatherTech trunk liner.
Also looked up new battery stuff and apparently Das Audi has some sort of "smart" electrical system that adjusts to old batteries. If you just drop a new battery in the car brain still thinks it is old will not charge it fully. Needs to have something reset to tell car brain it's a new battery and it take a full ass charging. Of course, not something you can just reset yourself like the smarty pants tire pressure thingie.
