yeah I angry closed out the window I was watching the game in and it's a bummer, but I guess I don't care enough to let it ruin my life for the week. There have been sports things that have ruined my mood for a few days, but these regular season games don't usually do that to me. But yeah, I feel like you can't be on the sports board for quite a while afterward.

Why weren't you locked in the bathroom???

So I have to help interview a May graduate and have to come up with some questions to ask. I've never interviewed anyone before. What should I ask? If he would rather be a cat or a dog?

Depends on what they need to do for the job. What is their experience with the types of programs they need to use (say, Excel, if they need to use Excel, ask them if they know how to use formulas, make graphs/charts in Excel). Ask they prefer to work on one project at a time or multi-task.......do they like detailed work? For ones that I've helped interview, we've expected them to have knowledge of our field and things customers may need from us coming in. So we gave out several hypothetical situations and asked how they would handle them. "So, customer calls and is having X issue or says competitor product is performing better than ours - how would you handle this?" Hypotheticals are usually good to see some of their thought process and gauge if they have a good understanding of what will be needed from them.

So, I bought some brownie mix thinking I had oil and eggs at home. Well I have peanut oil instead of vegetable oil, does anyone know if this will still work or should I pick some up this weekend?

What kind of peanut oil...like a big jug of it for frying and stuff, or a small bottle for asian cooking? I ask because the level of its refining matters. If it's nice and clear, you may get away with it, since it's refined to the point of removing most of the peanut flavor, but if it's either dark or very cloudy, it might be meant for a flavoring oil, and will give a strong peanut flavor to it. Although...peanut butter and chocolate are always a good combo.

32oz cub brand. It is as clear as vegetable oil, and like you said i wouldn't mind a peanut taste. Maybe I'll just give it a try.

KC, glad the spin out wasn't worse, no harm no foul on something like that.
CG, what are those living room work outs about?
Everyone who bakes, made an Angel food cake the other day didn't need it but it tasted good. Does that even count as baking they are so easy (one step box mix)
Rev, between time and temp just not good for Z to go to the game?
Boxster hope you get feeling better.

It usually takes us 10 to 15 minutes to get out of our lot. We were in the NE corner of C5 last night, had to exit north. 30 minutes of nearly zero movement. D1 & D2 were empty by the time we went past them; most of C3 & C4 as well. I suspect the big money lots surrounding Hilton were also empty, as there were no cars coming out of the North side of Center Drive by the time we got that far.

We won't make the mistake of parking in that corner again. We had no options.

Blerg. Maybe if the AD contracted with someone whose employees actually have a clue of how to handle traffic flow...

Park with the lower class in C6. You're blocked in all night long, every single game.

homemade angel food cake is way better!!

so the workouts are pretty simple but hard - so this was one she posted recently.

Warm-up:
2-3 Rounds of:
20 Jumping Jacks
10 Lunges
10 T-Pushups
10 Sit-ups

(some stretches)

3 Rounds (For Time)
20 Squats
15 Push Press
10 V-Ups
5 Burpees

Tabata
Tabata/Alt.
Right Side Plank
Left Side Plank

basically just workouts you can do without a lot of special equipment or space.

Another thing I used last winter to get some activity with the kids is YouTube videos. I used FitnessBlender:

If he were a tree, what type of tree would he be and why
If he were to die and become a ghost, where would he haunt (using the classic idea that you can only haunt one space and it needs to be meaningful)
Just say: "so, tell me about yourself" (I had this one in a law school interview and it threw me off)

Forgot about game, so no babysitter. Also was Wednesday so I didn't want to ask the teens either.....and it was cold and windy.

I did give Z a muffin for breakfast though. She approved! :)

Is it Monday? I'm having a very Monday type of day. Would help if I could get rid of this headache I woke up with about 3am this morning.

I think you will be fine with peanut oil. Are you making them just for yourself? If you happen to take them anywhere, just make sure there is a disclaimer. I am not a peanut nazi by any means, but having a peanut allergic child I try to be sensitive about it.

And brownies are always better with chocolate frosting--got any powdered sugar, cocoa, and butter? Last weekend I made brownie bites (just baked brownie mix in a mini muffin pan) and covered them with dark chocolate ganache. Which reminds me, I need to buy more dark chocolate chips for my cheesecake next week. :)

Yes, come to C6. We have cookies!

Kinda sucked to drive a total of four hours in non-optimal weather for that game. Ugh.

I started doing "living room workouts" beginning of last year, and was doing pretty good. (Push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks, lunges, squats) Things I could do with my limited coordination. The problem? I have bad knees. I think the lunges and squats were messing with my left one particularly. Hear crackling as you're going up the steps? Bad.

Would getting a semi-decent knee brace help?
