E-mail victories are strangely satisfying.

I had a customer include superiors on both their end and mine calling me out on an issue. The problem was they replied using the very E-mail I sent him where the information was clearly displayed.

My boss highlighted it in the original E-mail, as well as doing cut-and-paste it into the body of his reply. Several E-mails later, I got to read a good eating-crow apology.

I accepted the apology with an exaggerated politeness. And yeah, I had my smug on the whole time.

email victories are the best.

No idea what you are referencing as Puck, so...

Thou speak'st aright;
I am that merry wanderer of the night....
Sorry. You may have been confused when I said Real Life instead of Real World.

It's this guy.

Not the clever little guy from Shakespeare that I couldn't really understand when we had to read it in 8th grade.

lol never. Save money or college experience .. I'll take the college experience any day of the week

Serious question: Are you dead set against the dorms for a year? Maybe I'm in the minority, but nearly everyone I hung out with was either someone I met in the dorms or through someone I met in the dorms.

Yeah - I was trying to figure the connection as well. :)
We weren't sure what the connection was either. That's why we didn't convict him on any of those charges. Of course there was still the burglary, possession of burglary tools and interference with official acts that we did convict him.

Don't plan on going to Iowa State next year and you can't go to DMACC and live in the dorms anymore. I want to live in the dorms but I'm fine with living in an apartment with a couple friends.

my teeth hurt. Not sure if whatever pills in my purse will do anything for sinus pain.

No, I'm not quite a drug dealer. Just keep a little baggie of headache type pills. DH said it does look kinda drug dealerish.
I keep a baggie of aspirin and ibuprofen in my desk at work. After a while, the aspirin gets kind of ground up into a powdery substance. It looks great to have that in the courthouse.

Aren't you going to DMACC? Stay at home and save your money. I actually think living away from home for college is important and useful (whether enough to outweigh the cost is up to you, and the fact that you just want it for the "college experience" makes this irrelevant), but DMACC won't give you that. If you had wanted the college experience you should have been smarter/studied for the ACT more.

And the lawn service finally shows up next door to remove the ton* of wet oak leaves on my neighbor's lot. Jeez, dudes, it's almost December. Was expecting the roar of their multiple gas blowers but it's so wet they are having to rake the leaves onto tarps and drag them to their trailer. Actual labor intensive just like I did mine as an army of one. I laugh a hearty laugh at their expense.

* might be light on my estimate
