I don't miss the diaper blowout stage one bit. However, last night I learned that it would have been beneficial to listen to my wife when she told me to make sure my daughter put her hair up before she got sick.

Between her having lice last year and a vomit hairdo last night, she's lucky her head hasn't been shaven smooth.

not in school today. I'm chilling in dsm rn. My friends almost got in like 20 accidents.

Traffic is really bad in Des Moines during HS basketball & wrestling tournament weeks. There's a LOT of people (talking adults here) who are unfamiliar with driving in a city. Add mass quantities of teen drivers (inexperienced in both driving AND city driving) and it's amazing that there aren't MORE accidents.

It made me VERY nervous to let our son take the van down with a carload of non-participating wrestlers his junior & senior years. They stayed in the same hotel as the coaches and the qualified wrestlers, and my son was a pretty responsible kid...but he was still a kid...and I was still a mother. :)

I kinda crack up thinking about how terrifying it was to drive in the big city of Des Moines when I was younger.

ah ****, Person B won't be here next month so they are like Person A, do you know what to do if you have trouble next time? And Person A keeps cutting them off with "yeah yeah, I know"

let's get a remindbot on this. Around March 22nd there is going to be trouble.

But wait, my boss will be back then (she's gone right now) so maybe they can talk to her then though she is not as familiar with this portion, as person who used to run it left company. Next month is important and the last important one got majorly ****ed up and missed. That cannot happen this time.

Normal reach to a CG post.

I wish I could play back the convo going on in my office right now. Basically this person A has had trouble with the same program that they have run every month the last 5 months. And the same parts - like they make the same mistakes repeatedly. Person they go to for help (Person B) had run this a total of 3 times prior to handing it off to A. So it's not like B had a ton of experience with it. They just knew how to follow the instructions. Every month, A is like there are problems and B is like "here are all the ways you messed it up and make a damn checklist for next month so you stop missing these things." Only silver lining is that my boss will be back and maybe able to help - but she doesn't work much with this portion.

and now B won't be here for next months' run and is strongly emphasizing how they will not be here to help and A is basically blowing it off. I see no way in which this ends poorly.
