On Sunday I was taking Z to the library. On one of the sidewalks was a girl (I think) wearing overalls, Chucky mask, and had a plastic knife. She was walking toward us away from the stop sign. When I stooped to look both ways I also looked back in the mirror and the child had turned around and was walking toward us again.

I was taking the dog out and I glanced over at a window next to me and there was a kid in a pitch black room just staring at me. Like not smiling, just a cold murderous stare. And now my dog won't stop barking toward the dark empty living room from my bed.
Okay that gave me goose bumps.

For what I'm paying that kid, he needs to up his game. If he's not holding the severed head of a porcelain doll tonight, let me know and I'll have a talk with him.

I **** you not that apartment was empty a week ago. I suppose someone could have moved in this weekend, but I didn't notice it if it happened.

It sounds like the Girl Scouts are taking a more aggressive approach for their cookie sales this year.

I can't stand trying to go into the grocery store and getting accosted. Lately it's been the boy scouts selling popcorn. In the spring it will be the girl scouts selling cookies.

We bought a bag of popcorn from the neighbor kid. There was (not exaggerating at all) 3 inches of popcorn chaff in the bottom. I dumped it our and it ended up being nearly two cups worth.

I normally have no shame, use the bag as a cup and "drink" the crumbled pieces, but I couldn't even bring myself to do that this time. It looked like someone walked on the bottom half of the bag until everything inside it was flat.

Are you sure it wasn't the real Chucky?

The scout's popcorn sales are about the worst ripoff for fundraising. almost as bad as an NFL player's charity.

It's just like the girl scouts. The ones making the real money are the cookie company.
Free advertising and a free sales force.

I understand the Girl Scout cookie thing, fundraiser and all, but yikes....those cookies are pretty terrible, and I could buy two packages of Oreos for the price of one of 'em!

I did post something last year on facebook a picture of a random open umbrella sitting next to the door of an empty apartment on my floor and someone said the hallway looks like a hallway from the Shining. Let me see if I can find the pic.
