quadruple post? Quadruple post.

Last night I was sitting with DH and somehow the topic of lip biting came up. Like, you know how coquettish women will do a lip bite to look all alluring? And I was like so is this sexy? What about this? While biting an obnoxious amount of my lip. I do this for a bit until finally DH is like, "it's not just the amount of lip, you dork. It's also about the eyes."
He then looks back at the screen.

After a second he goes "you're making crazy eyes now, aren't you?"

:D

to be fair, it was both crazy eyes and lip biting. Probably looked like I was having a stroke.

Not exactly sure.
my first accident was hitting a deer at about 5mph. Saw it in the ditch and slowed way down. It came across the road part way, then went back again and hit my passenger side. I still maintain that it attacked the car. This was mid-November and I had just seen two hunters going out. Cause it was like 4am and I was on my way to a music event thingy.

Reads like somebody was drunk, deer or driver. Deer ran into a car moving at 5 mph? You saw hunters walking around at 4 am? What time does it get light out lately? Something like 7 am.

If croquettish women bite their lip, usually mean they hit themselves with the mallet.

I should have explained more. I was like 17 so def not drunk in the cool minivan. I had just turned onto that road hence the going slow. And at my prior stop sign, I had to wait for a pair of hunters in a truck to turn onto that road going the other way. After I hit the deer I was like come back hunters, I winged one for you.

Went to a meeting about a business opportunity tonight. This 80 year old man has a question, asks about what if that short guy in N Korea launches a bomb at this. Presenters are silent, kinda like, what do you think and what does it matter if it gets nuked; we'd be all screwed anyhow.

About 15 minutes later, old dude raises hand. They ask John what his question is. He asks about what happens in 50 years if the situation turns. All I can think is, who cares, we will all be dead and gone by then. I'm the youngest one here and you have 40 years on me. Let your kids or grand kids cash in in 40 years and it's all good.

If anyone has ever been to the Air Force Academy, it is like driving through a National Forest to get there. When my nephew was there one of the other recruits hit a deer. So my BIL bought some of those deer whistle thingys for my nephew to put on his car.
I said "Those don't work"
My BIL said "Don't tell nephew, he thinks they work great because he hasn't hit one"

A few years back, I was part owner of some hunting ground near Osceola. I was headed down there about 6 am (dark) on I-35, to go squirrel hunting (yes, I eat them) and this car passes me. It gets maybe 100 yds ahead of me and all of a sudden looks like it is making a U-turn on the interstate. Then I see dirt kick up and twirling tail lights as they roll into a pretty steep ditch. I pulled over, and called 911, afraid of what I was going to find. Luckily the car landed on its wheels, and they both walked away from it, but the woman had some back and neck pain, so we got an ambulance. Hwy patrol arrived, and when she told him she was swerving to avoid a big buck, he says, "Next time just run that damned thing over." No hunting for me that day.

I have never hit a deer but I have a friend who had one with really bad timing that ran into the side of his car as he drove past. Also remember grandparents hit one taking us home when I was little (for CR people this one was on East Post near Cottage grove so plenty of deer around). After that they put those whistles on the car.

One time in college after being home for the weekend I got all the way to my apartment before realizing I left my wallet at home. My dad agreed to meet me in Tama with the wallet. As I am approaching Tama my dad calls and tells me to just keep driving as he hit a deer and was waiting for the Sheriff. That proved to be a costly mistake by me.

A couple of years ago my dad bought a brand new car and they were driving home from a graduation party in Ankeny and with less than 1k miles on it they nailed a deer out by Ced-Rel.

Got the low down for tonights duals. Man, this will be painful. One dual will be the forfeit parade and the other could get ugly. Wrestle offs were last night. The parents of the freshmen were telling how their kids could step right in, I told them to be cautious but they were positive. Son told me that a kid he would ride like a rented mule was in a wrestle off with what is considered the strongest freshman wrestler. Mule kid stuck him in the first. The time between matches can be the worst to fill especially if you hit the 45 minute rule for time between matches, have to start pulling stuff out of your rear.

Good luck!
As verbal as I am, I would totally suck at doing a radio show for anything. There would be a lot of ummm...errrrr..ahhhh...and probably a handful of inadvertent bleeps!

If you start talking about stuff you pull out of your rear I might actually listen to a small town, Northern Iowa wrestling broadcast. "Looks like last night's corn didn't fully digest". Is this on an iheart radio station?

Was promising with two of my hated rat species in it, tree rats and giant white tailed wood rats.

Then...

No squirrels died.

and

No deer died.

o_O

Such much disappointment.

I decided to listen to Stanz and Fitz podcast this morning even though it was going to be clearly much longer than my commute. I got to the ramp and realized that I had forgotten my work ID which gets me in the ramp. Not a huge deal, I can get by for a day without my ID - until I realize I forgot my work keys as well (ID and keys were together). I can make it through a day without one or the other, but definitely not both so I turned around and headed back home. When I finally got back to work I entered the ramp and the podcast ended right on cue.

I probably should have picked a 10 minute podcast to listen to this morning so my commute would have been a lot shorter.
