Well I got my folks recliner fixed today. Footrest quit working dremelled the catch to smooth the edges and WD 40'd it, works smooth now.

Also walked an extra mile today. Wanted to start after Christmas but let the rain yesterday deter me. It was pretty nice when I got home so I went even though it was sort of misty out. Not much of a start but it's something.

Good for you. Walking’s been on my list, too. Sure hope I can get started soon. Perhaps tomorrow when there’s ice, snow, etc. Par for the course with my lack of wellness thus far this week. Sigh.

Gene Hackman has not made a film since 2004....wow...that was an eye opener. Who knew? He is so prolific, I feel like he was in about every third movie...but I guess that stopped awhile ago.

Not exactly sure.
Took wife on the anniversary cruise. :) It counts right? Dude first slams into the wall. Then as he tries to correct it, we hit another boat and wedge them into the other wall. Like bumper boats out there.

Go out to the car this morning. One side (driver) is glazed, the other side is just a smidge of snow, easily brushed off.

Needed to use my actual key instead of my fob to unlock the car, and yank on the handle with both hands. Luckily, didn't land on my rear when the door did open.

Not until Saturday. I even went to the airport when I couldn't get through via phone/web and she took one look and said we can't do anything with this till Saturday.

Couldn’t even drive to Des Moines and fly out of there?

When my Costa Rica trip got screwed up from the hurricane in Houston, they bent over backwards to find a solution for me.

Yea, they weren't much help at all. That's one reason I would prefer to drive. I should have taken Wednesday off and just driven down starting on Christmas.

Christmas flying crowds. Heck even my little 90 minute flights between MSP and Indy were pretty much 100% full. Not sure about Christmas but didn't Thanksgiving set a record this year?

Used to fly Christmas all the time. Back in the day they were 2/3 full. Could get in and out fairly easily also.

My friend's redeye flight was canceled and instead of getting to San Antonio at 1-2 today we're getting there around 5-6. We're gonna have to crush some Busch Lights to catch up and we'll have almost no build up in his first ever bowl game. Other friend is an even bigger idiot and bought a ticket to come in tomorrow (directly to SA) because that's when he thought the game was.

Both graduates of the Engineering School by the way.

Has anyone seen Bird Box (Sandra Bullock film on Netflix)? I'd never heard of it before today, but a co-worker of mine wouldn't stop talking about it saying it was a must-watch. I normally have similar opinions about movies as her, but figured I'd get an informal poll from you guys.

Watched it last night after a relative raved about it at Xmas. It's okay. Reminded me of The Happening but marginally better. I was pretty bored by the end.

You mean "the lady in Bird Box"?
