There are some people, including myself, that think Rashad Vaughn is pulling a ISU/Harrison Barnes tease with Minnesota right? What if he may be doing that do UNLV as well. I would imagine a lot of people in Las Vegas would be upset with him if he cut UNLV off of his list today. Just some food for thought...

RV needs to understand that if he goes to North Carolina, it will be harder to be the man. Every other recruit that NC has thinks they should be the man.

While I hope this is the case, I don't see it. UNLV gets some pretty good talent, especially for not being in a power conference

Makes sense really. Vaughn knows that everyone in Minnesota wants him to go to Minnesota, and he knows everyone in Las Vegas wants him to go to UNLV. If he cuts them off then people will get mad at him.
This is also the reason I don't think Barnes teased us on purpose.

Vaughn has only lived in Las Vegas for a short amount of time. I kinda doubt that many would be mad at him if he cut his list and it didnt include them. Plus UNLV jumped on way late with Vaughn. Besides, any adult who gets ticked off at a 17/18 year old because they didn't include their favorite school in their list of options of where they'd attend needs to get real because that'd be ridiculous. I mean I guess Jabari Parker got a ton of hate for choosing Duke but who gets ticked at a 17 year old kid for deciding on where they WANT to go?
Anyways, I hope Vaughn comes to Iowa State and I think we are the favorite and obviously I'd be disappointed if he chose else where but I wouldnt be mad at him.

Any speculation on what Fred says on an in home visit?? I'm assuming he doesn't use Travis Ford's techniques begging him in a girly way to come to ISU. It would probably go like this: "Alright, we all know I'm dreamy and you want the ball in your hands. I'll make you the best shooter on the floor and well, we already know you're going to postersize some wannabe's. How about you lead a couple teams on, but sign with the good guys in the end."
