This is the craziness of bball recruiting... RV was thought to be gone from UNC now has an IH and and OV the OV is late night with Roy. Love my coach but I am not sure I agree with the recruiting tactics on this one. Some youngster as he calls them is gonna get his feelings hurt. We offered Exum Johnson and Blackmon in the span of a week Also to go along with the RV offer. smh Recruiting sucks is what I am learning. I still hope that if we don't land him that you guys do.

For some crazy reason I think we have a pretty good shot because he's close to home and his parents seem to like Fred. They could watch him play and you always want to make mom and dad happy

It seems like a fluid situation. He really seems to be up in the air and doing plenty of due diligence. It scares me if we don't get an official out of him. I think he'll be swayed on an official and it would be hard to compete with that without one.

Ya, my comment was mostly tongue-in-cheek but I just find it funny that he was supposed to come out with a list of 7-8 schools a month ago and 11 ended up on it. This thing is just dragging.

He's visited here twice. He is not going to do an official here because it is cheap to drive from Minneapolis to Ames versus flying to Baylor and UNC. Just like he won't do an official to UNLV now that he is playing there. Jebus Cripes, get off the ledge. Even though he set up an "official" to Baylor, I would put us well ahead of them in his recruitment.
