Re: Rashad Vaughn

Yes, and Baylor, KU and UNC all doing in-home visits with his parents this week. Don't these guys know he's ours?

What are the rules with in-home visits? Can you have as many as you want or is there a limit like with official visits?

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Ya, my comment was mostly tongue-in-cheek but I just find it funny that he was supposed to come out with a list of 7-8 schools a month ago and 11 ended up on it. This thing is just dragging.

It's been assumed for months that he wouldn't announce his decision until the spring. What were you expecting?

I was expecting him to have a list of schools that was less than 11. It really has nothing to do with his timeline. There are plenty of recruits who plan on announcing in the spring that have 5 or 6 schools left on their list.

Yeah because he should do what you want... Things change and he really doesn't need to be in any hurry at all.

When the hell did I say that? All I said was, I thought he'd have a list of schools that's fewer than 11 by now. That's it.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Agree. People are taking this "official"
visit thing way too serious. Minnesota and Iowa State will be in the mix regardless!

He's visited here twice. He is not going to do an official here because it is cheap to drive from Minneapolis to Ames versus flying to Baylor and UNC. Just like he won't do an official to UNLV now that he is playing there. Jebus Cripes, get off the ledge. Even though he set up an "official" to Baylor, I would put us well ahead of them in his recruitment.

That is because 99% of the time the school that is chosen will also get an official visit. He's been here twice people. Let's not act like he has dinner with the Hoibergs twice a week and grew up a mile from Hilton.

I'd like to get him on campus one more time as well but I don't really care if its for an official or unofficial visit.

Unless you use Justin Hamilton's geography! He went to Las Vegas to be closer to Ames :jimlad:

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Who is Jerry Meyer and what makes him so connected that he thinks Iowa State has an advantage?
