Re: Rashad Vaughn

Sorry if the info is in here already, but what is the reasoning for him going to prep?

I guess I am confused, I thought most guys went prep to get more exposure or grades in order
He wants more exposure and to play better competition.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I think the whole "more exposure" doesnt look good for ISU. How much more exposure does he need? He has an offer from every team in D1 practically.

See this is what I'm confused about, he is already the number 7 recruit on rivals. I think he is exposed!

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I got a feeling he's just going to be the hot girl from high school that flirts with everyone for the attention, but ends up going out with the most popular guy with the nice car.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

haha great example, we do have the most dreamy guy in the world as a coach so that counts toward something right? :)

Re: Rashad Vaughn

My guess is that he is bettering himself by going up against stronger competition. He's doing everything that he can to set up his future career.

Yeah, I am going to agree here. The kid appears to have a huge ego. Not trying to put him down since I would love to land him, but he is that hot flirty tease from high school and will wind up playing for the big boys at Kentucky or UNC. I hope the staff doesn't get hung up on him as our chances seem minuscule at this point. Sorry for being a Debbie Downer.

It's this /\. He wants to be a one and done so he needs to be playing at the highest level possible next year.

I think Findley is better for us than just about any other school he was considering. He's a long ways from Kentucky and North Carolina too.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Good info! I imagine his stock will rise even higher (not that he was under the radar) with the exposure and competition.

BTW; are these Prep Schools getting better scrutiny and accreditation regarding quality of education, or are they still pretty much a rubber stamp for a diploma?

I think Brewster is one that is good. I would guess the ones that have been around the longest are the ones that are the best.

well its not like hes begging us for Iowa states attention. We are the ones that desperately want his attention.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

which pretty much points to playing at a high high high major. I think its unrealistic at this point to think we have a legitimate shot at him.

Why? You think Fred and Co. would waste time on recruiting him if they didn't think he had a shot? If you don't think we're in his top 5 you're crazy IMO. Do I think we end up getting him? No. But I think he's still considering us and who wouldn't want to play in Fred's system if you're looking to score.
