We will not have a winning season until someone shuts up that stupid "1st Down"!! spastic drivel. OMG!!! We got a first down!!! I am sure recruits are thrilled with that too...

What do we have to do Jamie to get you to take executive action to end stupid crap?!?!!?!? The lame "first down" thing must end. It is embarrassing.

Pace yourself, this team getting a first down is note worthy!

Solurtion, all those who want CPR gone donate $10,000 each to the program to buy out his contract1 Or just don't buy tickets or go to the games and the AD will get the point.

The whole first down thing is done by more than just ISU fans. I was watching games this weekend, I believe Baylor was one of them, where there was a first down chant. Don't use that as "ISU getting excited over a 1st down, and recruits will frown over it."

As far as Rhoads contract, I may have drank to much koolaid, but I am going to give it the rest of the year to re-evaluate this coaching staff, including Rhoads. If you want Rhoads gone feel free to sell/give your ticket to the next guy, because I bet for every person that wants to jump ship there are 2 more that actually want to attend the game that can't.

Let's see if that holds true by November.

the tv coaches show last night looked like he was some ISIS prisoner broadcasting from some Applebees in Syria taken with a 8mm camera. It was bad. Almost as bad as some of Chizik's last 3 or 4 coaches shows after the beat downs he took.

Give him a break. He knows the position he's in and knows it will get no better.

For those of you who wanted McCarney back...

This was the first ISU game I ever went to, with my grandmother (RIP, always bought season tickets in the end zones). We left in the third quarter because it was late and we thought we had it won.

Then Iowa State happened.

That was DMC's second year. That kind of stuff just always seemed to happen with him, no matter what.

Then Dan must be back again. The first quarter we pounded them. Then it became like Dunkirk all over again.

The thing I remember about Mac...he always seemed to have a couple of phenomenal offensive weapons- Troy, Darren, Ennis, Sage, Seneca, Lane etc. Those guys could make explosive plays, which just made football fun to watch even if we were losing.

Not saying that's a reason Mac was better than CPR. But football was fun.

Yeah, I really enjoyed all those second half wins. He was awesome.

I wonder if when CPR was beating Nebbie, UT, Okie State, etc if some of the bigger mac supporters were trying to reach to give the great one credit for hiring CPR on his first staff.

You think CPR would have been hired as HC by JP without Mac having him here first? Not a chance.

We will see, but get rid of your tickets now. I would rather sit next to someone that is going to sit there and cheer for ISU than complain of how Rhoads should be gone, Sam should be sat and so on.

Just stop with this crap. I'd argue that the ones voicing their displeasure are doing much more for the program than those who happily gobble down the **** sandwich that is our football program right now.

How is it bettering our program. Do you really think our coaches give 2 craps what we have to say? Probably not. We are a small portion, but NOT showing up to the game hurts the atmosphere of JT. These players like the atmosphere that JT has offered over the numerous "sellouts" that we have had. Sorry for wanting to stay positive for the players. I feel the whole coaching situation will work itself out.

We keep playing like this and you might be sitting alone.

Here's the issue: a few years ago, excitement was an all-time high and having a ticket to an Iowa State game was a priviledge. Tickets were hard to come by, and were for some games almost doubling in value. I am still a season ticket holder, and probably will be for a few more years. The difference between two years ago and now is I'm not putting an extremely high priority on going. Case-in-point, my daughter has a soccer game at 10:00 on Saturday. A few years ago, she's probably skipping her game and going to the Iowa State game with us, or I convince myself I can miss one of her games. This Saturday, I'm probably going to her soccer game, not wanting to miss that and likely see another drubbing.

I'm not giving up on the program or CPR, but going to a game is falling further down my list of priorities, due to the risk of wasting an entire day watching what I watched Saturday.
